New to Universal have many questions

Hi This is going to be my first trip to Universal. My DD12 and I are going. We'll be staying at RPR. I have a few questions.

If I booked a standard room can I ask for a park view?
IMGONNABE40 suggested 1740.

Also anyone that used the FL turnpike heading North, Is it better to take it to 1-4 or better to get off before and head West to I-4 say using Osceola Parkway?

Is the park the only place to buy Annual passes? I'm planning on going Monday and buying online won't work.

Ask for a themepark view in tower 1 on an upper floor. The 7th floor is ideal. 1740 is prob the one of the best themepark view rooms in the hotel. It is shaped a little differently than other standard rooms because of its location but I'm not sure if it's any bigger. If you can't get that go for 1719-1733 (odd). 1719 is shaped the same as 1740.
