New "Official" Frozen: 2015 Frozen Summer Fun June 17 to Sept 7!

Will there be a special area with frozen merchandise?

I don't think so. But I think we'll see some cool special effects and different screen. I can't wait to see it in person tomorrow.



We will find out about rope drop tomorrow am. I'm going to try to make it to park opening.

Hollywood Blvd should get pretty crowded by the end of the dance party. @Gianfootography can probably answer this one better because I stay away from the stage and crowds.

I used to hang out in front of the stage to watch the band and DJ. Last year they would have Disney characters like Mickey, Goofy, Max, and Chip & Dale dance during the DJ sessions. People would shove their kids into the characters so they could take pictures. I got stepped on quite a bit, oddly not as painful as hearing "Let It Go" 50+ times during the event. The "Dance Concrete" would get crowed but would thin out a bit when the characters disappeared and the band came out. Closer to Firework time it would get crowded. The dance area got smaller with the 2 VIP areas during SWW, which caused people to just plant themselves and not dance. I would dance my way into a decent spot. A few nights I was the only one dancing during SWW. I wouldn't be shocked if they decided to block the entire area in front of the stage for VIPs/dessert party.

Back to Frozen last year: I would sometimes get there and my spot was not available but as soon as the transition happened from DJ to band I was able to dance my way to the front. So my suggestion is to Dance your way to a good spot early, since It is harder to plant yourself with the characters dancing (if the characters are dancing this year) & make room for me

It was 9:20 ish when ppl were let into waiting area. Before that, queue was outside.

preshow type thing on TV screens outside. Can't see them from package or front w/c access queue.
