So crazy excited can't barely stand myself.![]()
This is how I know the trip is right around the corner: DBF is finally excited for the trip. Don't get me wrong, he loves to go, but he just doesn't get excited until it's almost here. HA.
6 days to go! 3.5 work days!
I just checked into Hershey Lodge for a conference and they couldn't find my reservation. They quickly found a room, but I know for the next 6 nights that I'll be having nightmares of the same thing happening at Wilderness Lodge!
ryankelli said:Love it there. We live right down the road. Too bad the park is not open.
Well, DH and I returned from our business trip yesterday afternoon, and now, one week from today we will be in WDW!!! I'll be doing online check-in later today too.!
I've been frantically making lists this morning! I also checked the weather for next week and it's calling for a good chance of rain basically every day, not what I was hoping to see. We don't want to carry our backpack full of ponchos and rain gear. But we will if we have too! Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Online check in for your Disney resort? How do you do that?
Scheduled my character phone call for 3:30p on Friday - right when we start our trek down!Hopefully I remember and don't ignore the number I don't recognize
So much laundry and packing to get done, but everything is essentially purchased and ready to go!
HURRY UP FRIDAY!!!
I'm right there with you. I did more laundry yesterday than I ever thought possible. When your 15 year old tries on 6 outfits a day and piles them in the closet it doesn't help. And then I pulled out all the summer stuff that was clean and put away but it didn't smell fresh after sitting in boxes all winter so in to the laundry it went to. Oh and while I was at it, I might as well do the shower curtains, bath mats and towels.
Whenever I start cleaning I just make more work for myself!
Anyway, I've packed about half of what we need, closets and drawers are pulled apart and I have another full day of busy work ahead.
Vacation jitters set in this morning and I am walking around with butterflies in my stomach
My 8 year old was mean as a snake this morning. Everything was an argument and he was mopey and grumpy. That is very very unusual for him. He can be a little cranky sometimes, but is normally a really cheery little guy. This means one of two things.. he was either extremely over tired , or he's getting sick. He slept from 9:30 to 7:30 so that's 10 hours. I am really hoping it's not that he's getting sick, but that mood only shows up when he is
I'll decide how he's looking later today and we might have to hit the walk in clinic to get checked out just in case. Someone always gets sick for vacation in this house. Always. We'll roll with it.
I don't know why, but that line made me laugh so hard. It's not funny that he might get sick, but whenever my kids are nasty I get so angry - DON'T YOU KNOW WHERE I'M TAKING YOU?! YOU WILL BE NICE TO ME, LOVE ME, AND TELL ME HOW AMAZING I AM DARN IT!
You must have been in my house this morning
"You certainly aren't acting like a little boy who wants to go on a Disney trip!"
Oh and this gem.. "Other kids don't get to go on ANY Disney trips!!"
It didn't even occur to me until I talked to my husband that he may be getting sick. I explained the morning and dh just said "Did you check his temperature. This is a bad omen"
