Are you in labor???

Congrats to all of you ladies. I am 11 weeks and still don't feel pregnant other than the slight weight gain, and constant nausea. I haven't heard a HB yet and I won't have a sonogram until 20 weeks!

Totally cute, Holly!

:wizard: Welcome, basketrn!:wizard: :wizard: Good luck with your U/S tomorrow.

I head to my 12 week visit tomorrow. This will be the first real OB visit - heartbeat and everything.

Amie- when are you due? I'm September 8th- I think.

I am due Spet. 3rd. Today is my first real OB appt. with the HB and all that. Tomorrow I go in for the Nuchal u/s (since I will be 35 when I deliver). I am dreading the scale! We just got back from Disney last week.....enough said. I definately "feel" pregnant. My endurance is down during my workouts and I already have a little belly, but this is my fourth.

I've just started wearing some maternity clothes - this is #3 for me. I have my 12 week appt. next week and I'm nervous about weight gain as well!

I am sure it will be fine....although, I have considered just getting on the scale backwards!

I just noticed your location...I am in the city of Alexandria!

OMG, I love all the pictures posted recently!!!

I have a question for all those who have already had kids. We are finally getting to the point of getting Dom in a crib instead of his small bed now. We have our crib picked, but I am reading up on mattresses. Any recommendations for us? I just want something that will last for a few years until we get him into a "real bed"

We have a Serta for our DS 5, it's still in great shape and very comfy.

Because of baby brother who will be born soon, DS 5 and DS 2 are getting a bunk bed with real big boy mattresses! Baby brother will take over the single room and will get a new crib mattress.

Did anyone else read that reusing a crib mattress (from child to child) has been loosely linked with SIDS?!?! I was just going to reuse, since I'll have two crib/toddler mattresses with the arrival of our bunk bed.

Guess not!

I'd go with a mattress that is firm, and has air vents on the sides. Personally, I don't think you need one that the most expensive, but I'd stay away from the really inexpensive ones, as well! lol Somewhere in the middle is good. If you plan on using a toddler bed, you'll be grateful for going with a better one, for it will last longer.

Can I join your group?

I am 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I had a long road of infertility, but finally pregnant after our first IVF. We have our first ultrasound appt tomorrow morning, so I think I will breath alot easier after tomorrow when I see the little beans HB!!

Congratulations!
Please update us on how your ultrasound went :)
*hugs*

I had not heard this. Where can I get more info on that? We were also going to reuse my DS7 crib mattress that has been in a closet all of this time.

Back from my OB appt. Heard the baby's heartbeat. That was pretty cool. Unfortunately, I had gained 5 pounds...but I did go to Disney. They weren't at all concerned, but I have big issues with this sort of thing. So, now that we are home, I need to get back on the straight and narrow path.

Tommorw is the u/s.

I heard it from my mom, but found a few links about it...

I'll talk to my mom later on tonight and will find out if this is what she was referring to.

I assumed that it was due to the weight of having a bigger child on the mattress. Perhaps that caused a soft spot in the mattress that the baby sank into, but from my google search it doesn't look like that's the case.
