Also, we go for our First Trimester Screening and NT (test for Down Syndrome via blood test and ultrasound) in 2 weeks. Our doctor said we should get it done but don't put a lot of faith/credit into the test if it comes back positive.
Anyone have advice or info on this?
I had this done, which was nice because you get an early and detailed ultrasound. Always fun!
We got a false positive on our AFP at 16W (it's a blood test--low levels may indicate Downs, high levels may indicate spinal issues or other structural problems, ours were high). Of course, they were high because there's two babies in there, but the midwife who called me failed to mention that was a possibility. Led to a fairly stressful weekend. When I went to see the genetic counselor, she was a little embarassed because they didn't consider my levels high at all for twins, and she felt bad the midwife freaked me out. But again, I got another fun ultrasound and we found out the genders a little early! (Well, one was wrong, but we don't need to talk about that
)

I can schedule that, so we should know within the next couple of weeks.
We got a great deal at the Poly on a bounceback from last year, and we figure this will be our last chance to go by ourselves for a long, long time. Anyone who can offer tips on touring the world while PG, I would very much appreciate it - I think I'll be fine, but any BTDT advice is welcome!
(just kidding) My only touring advice is to take it slow, soak in the world around the rides and enjoy eating whatever you want. I found so many hidden mickeys and a new joy for air conditioning!!
Scary, huh!
