Hello to all you girls! So hard to believe my name was on that list this time last year and I was over 5 months pregnant! Now, he's nearly 9 months old and just as handsome as he can be.


I hope all your pregnancies are going well...and to those of you having twins....AWESOME! My good friend of 11 years is having twins, due in Dec and I can't wait to see them! She's having girls!

DH and BOTH boys! He couldn't handle it. I wouldn't want to handle it. I'm going to call my Doc tomorrow and if she says no, then I will spend the morning eating the concierge food with my DS#2!

HELP... NEED IDEAS!!!

Okay, I LOVE my OB! She is awesome, but terrible to get an appointment with. I was supposed to see her today, but had to change due to DD starting school and I would have been late to pick her up from the bus. So I rescheduled for another doc in the practice for later in the week.

I really want to see my doc since I skipped last week with a different doc (they were 1.5 hours behind and I couldn't wait).

Any ideas of how I can "sneak my way in today"?

You definitely wouldn't want it to be serious, but good enough to get you in. Ok, can't think of anything. If you say contractions, they will send you to the hospital. I'm at a loss!

Minor detail but I gave you the wrong due date -- should be 3/21/09.

Also, we go for our First Trimester Screening and NT (test for Down Syndrome via blood test and ultrasound) in 2 weeks. Our doctor said we should get it done but don't put a lot of faith/credit into the test if it comes back positive.

Anyone have advice or info on this?

That test wasn't available for my first 2 pregnancies, but we did have it for this pregnancy. Our doc said with the combination of an U/S and blood test, there should be no issues with a false positive.

Any opportunity to see the little one is a good thing.

Good Morning Everyone! I am in a bit of a funk today since my DS10 is on vacation this week with his father...they are on a cruise until Sunday. I miss him so much. I am trying to keep busy here. We are in the middle of a renovation (almost done) and getting organized to flip flop a couple of rooms. My son is moving into the bedroom that I use as an office so that his current room can be the nursery.

I do not think this is on my agenda...my doctor gave me the options of CVS and Amnio and we chose Amnio since it is less evasive.

I will ask next week...I have a doctor's appointment and 3 ultrasouds...1 for the baby, 1 for breast (I am due for a mammogram) and another for aortic aneuryms...both my father and mother have had them and they are hereditary...
