Great, now I have to worry about a flood of AP'ers on the bus. Or Not. The summer annual pass blackout dates start June 5th as well.

That was my first thought, too! That now the buses will be too crowded, but then reminded myself that hopefully certain AP holders are subject to blackout dates.

I just hope this "test" phase this summer, which I heard it referred to in several places, proves fruitful for Disney to continue into December. I was banking on this several days to avoid the road congestion and construction currently causing issues

I plan on using it in July for our trip. I think not having to go through security at each park, is a huge plus in itself, never mind the wait for regular buses! We always park hop, so we are back and forth all day. This will be the first time using the app to check for FP times as well, so we may hop even more than usual. Just have to figure out the system but after the first day we should have it. Thanks you all for keeping us updated. I will be curious to see if the number of people using the service changes when school gets out for the summer and more people will be on vacation.

This may have already been asked, so my apologies in advance. We have a friend who will be on a scooter for the entire trip. I assume the express buses can accommodate her?

Sorry I forgot to screen shot the schedule when I saw it...does anyone know the page it's on?

Magic Kingdom-Animal Kingdom, Epcot-Hollywood Studios: On the hour and half hour

Magic Kingdom-Epcot, Animal Kingdom-DHS: 10 minutes and 40 minutes

Magic Kingdom-DHS, Epcot-Animal Kingdom: 20 minutes and 50 minutes

Hate to say it but this was a total waste of money for us last Saturday. They don't tell you and I had never read that they cancel this during thunderstorms.

We started our day at HS by driving there. We took the Express Bus after lunch to MK. After dinner, the heavens opened with heavy rain (but very little lightning/thunder). Everybody started heading to the monorail in droves, but we thought, Haha, those suckers don't have their express bus to catch like we do. We tried to wait the rain out, but eventually headed to Tomorrowland only to find a sign that said "Not operating, please use regular transportation." Nobody to ask, no other information, no cast member, nothing. We waited the rain a little more and then finally it stopped. Still no worker. Finally, another worker came by the area and we asked them. He said they can't stand out for safety if lightning is around. They'll have to wait at least 20-30 minutes after the last thunder. If we waited more, there were no guarantees of anything and with the clouds getting darker again and HS getting closer to closing, we finally gave up. Eventually had to fight the masses in the monorail (which was broken down for a long time while packed of course) and then got a taxi to Hollywood right before closing to get our car. So for our family of 5, we spent $120 (including taxi), for about 4 hours of actual park time. From the time of our last ride at MK, to being in the car, it was about 3 hours.

It would be great if guests were advised that Express doesn't operate during lightning for the safety of CMs standing out in the open. Maybe e-mail Disney?

Anyway, it appears you're not aware of the external park-to-park transportation? From MK, there are buses to Disney Studios and Animal Kingdom, among the resort buses.

It was mentioned earlier in this thread that they don't operate in lightening but otherwise you are right, they don't include that in the info and should

I would email guest services and recount what happened and point out there is no notice about inclement weather stoppage and see if you can get a refund

I hadn't seen that mentioned before. I'm glad that I saw this today so that I am aware of it for the next time. It does seem like they should mention it when there are storms in the forecast. I have also mentioned to the CM every time I use it that it would be nice if they had some sort of a sign at the kiosk showing the schedule.

I used it today (bought the AP summer deal) and they had a big placard with the times at the entrance where the stop was in the MK at least.

On my trip from MK to AK I was the only person on the bus at 130pm. So passholder not overrunning it yet. :)

We used Express last week and were very pleased especially with getting in and out of AK with Pandora opening. We saw a new sign posted on 6/3/17 at AK with times. I will try to post it. I'm not having much luck :confused3

I know about the buses, but I wasn't sure how late they run from park to park. We almost never take buses given that we always drive to Disney and are usually on the monorail. The few times we've done it, it's always a hassle with stroller, small kids, etc. Given that it was storming and almost closing time at HS, I didn't want to drag all the kids through the rain to the bus stop for a bus that I wasn't sure would come (or how long it would take). Given the hassle we had been through, we just decided at that moment on what we thought the easiest path would be. Just didn't count on a big monorail system fail as well.

Is it possible to catch the express bus from HS to MK after the Star Wars fireworks or does it stop running before then?
