NEW Disney Visa Vacation Package Deal

Marcy, if you want i can give you the price i paid last year for 2 adults for the Fairy Tale Package. It was basically the same type of deal get 7 nights for the price of 4! We stayed at Port Orleans too so if it would help you to figure it out just let me know!

Fantasmic...
That would be really helpful. We have 2 adults, 2 kids (under 9)

Incidently, how did you like POR? We've never stayed there before but I've been told it's very nice. Can you recommend a building to stay in? I like to be "close to everything"....LOL, in a perfect world!

Thanks again for your help!
Marcy

I have had the Disney Visa for some time now. I just got the card member newsletter and this deal is not in there. There were lots of little offers but nothing great comes to mind (it is downstairs right now and I am up). I think if this were open to all it would have been in the newsletter. But we can hoope. I would look for something coming out in the next few days as the current offer expires today.

Hi Marcy!

I just checked my documentation from October - looks like it was $1100 total for two adults, 7 nights (8 days) at POR, passes (obviously) included. I'm not sure what the add-on is for two kids though - sorry!!

I did enjoy my stay at POR. We stayed at ASMo in March and liked it, but that was more a "hotel". This is a resort, lots of beautiful landscaping, great theming, and the boat to Downtown Disney is great to enjoy!! We wanted to stay in the Mansions just for the atmosphere and were in Magnolia Terrace. Great location, although I don't think anything is annoyingly far from anything. It looks spread out on a map, but in actuality, there's a path or bridge from one place to another, and it never makes for too long of a walk.

I've heard they've gotten more particular about requests, but I don't think it would hurt to try. I wrote to them and requested a Mansion room and stated just what you did - that I wanted to be close to it all. I also told them that we were two young women traveling alone, so we'd prefer something near a main hallway, as opposed to one that was set back. They were great about meeting our request, and I'm still under the impression that if you ask nicely enough and actually give them a reason (not an excuse or demand), they'll try to accomodate that.

If there's anything else I can help with, please don't hesitate to email me at Fantasmic303@aol.com !!:hyper:

Thanks for posting this thread !! I see that several of you have referred to the Disney Visa web site which shows several deals on it. Could anyone please provide that web site address ????
Thanks in advance, and again thanks for this info. If this deal is similar to the Fairytale Package then I'm packing my bags again !

Colt, the website that people keep referring to is for people who have the Disney visa credit card. It won't give you any information unless you are a cardholder. Do you have a Disney visa already?

I get to the website through a google search for Bank One Disney Visa. It will take you right there although I am sure that someone knows the direct address. Hope that helps.

It would seem that this offer must also be extended to cardholders. It would be divisive and bad business not to reward the loyal cardmembers. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Well nothing was listed on the website (says 0 offers for WDW). This is probably a 'good' thing for me. If they offered that "Pay for 4, but get 7 Days" deal I would try to find a way to go.

We need to cut back. I spent WAY too much money going to Disney things last year (WDW, the cruise, Disney on Ice, the Disney Store, the Disney Catalog, and who knows what else). I think I need help :earseek: !

Colt-I'm still waiting for someone to post the website address too! LOL!

I searched on google and found this:
http://www.firstusa.com/cgi-bin/web...name=disney_marquee_aff&page=cont&mkid=6GBJ61

My dh and I just applied for this card (haven't even received it in the mail yet-but they called us and said we were approved and it's on the way) so once I get the card and hopefully the elusive website, I'll post it here for everyone. :)

Maggie

Does anyone have any info on which are the participating hotels?

Do you think the allstarts/ or pop century will be included?

Where they included last year for the last package>?

thanks

I THINK SHE SAID IT RUNS UNTIL OCTOBER, I AM NOT SURE WHEN IT STARTS I THINK IT WAS JULY, MAYBE SOMEONE ELSE CALLED AND WOULD KNOW.
