I am also looking for recipes for my crock pot and have just purchased a food saver hoping these two can add to my savings.

Kim

For the crockpot recipes, use the search function near the top of the page in the blue area. Put in crockpot recipes and you will find pages and pages. There are also recipes in the community threads as well.

Check out the freebie threads for samples and coupons too.

Hey can I get added to the list again ????? Please!!!

I live in Falmouth. I travel between my companies offices Brockton, Lakeville, Sandwich, Hyannis & Falmouth. Where are you?

We are in Walpole. But have spent a lot of time in Falmouth. My hubby's mom owned a house there for many years.

I hope my receiver is getting her coupons okay. I have not seen her post.

QUOTE Hi Donna & All

Thanks for the warm welcome. Let me introduce myself: besides being on a 12-Step Disney recovery program for WDW travel addicts, I am a working Mom to Ryan, 11 and Colin, 13. I have been married 14 years to my husband Louie. We also have a 14 year old shepard-retriever mix named Kasey.

I have been on the disboards in the past but lurking in preparation of our WDW trips. Last year I had my WDW dream trip. A week in VWL over Christmas and a 4-day NYE Cruise with my sister (KT27), her husband and daughter. It was the trip of a lifetime but what a difference a year can make. With the economy changing so drastically, I have begun to get more cost conscious and am trying to be thrifty. I thought this would be a great way to help in this effort.

I am also looking for recipes for my crock pot and have just purchased a food saver hoping these two can add to my savings.

Glad to be joining you all!

Kim

Thanks for doing that Kim! I don't know if anyone else has ever done that before. Perhaps I'll request that as well when I send out my already long enough intro letter. We are so glad to have you with us!!

Just wishing all our August birthday Gals a Happy Birthday!! Will be off to CVS tomorrow! Hoping for good sales and inserts!!

ALERT ALERT for a great buy ladies!!!!

If you haven't used your Kelloggs $10 rebate yet, here's a good one coming up next week and/or the week after. Hopefully you have $1/1 for Kelloggs but even with $1/2 its still sweet!!!!

Okay Rite Aid has certain Kelloggs cereals on sale next week at 2/$5 and the following week they have the Nutri-Grain bars for the same price.

Heres the deal:
Kellogg's Cereal
Sale: 2/$5
Buy 10=$25
Use: 2/1 RP from 8/3=-$5 (or if you have $1/1 it would be $10 off!)

Get: $5 coupon offer 136 in the August Single Check Rebate book
Get: $10 MIR from Kelloggs

$25 Cost
-$5 coupons
-$5 rebate Rite Aid
-$10 rebate Kelloggs
$5 final cost for 10 boxes or if you have those $1/1 its free!

If you can't use the cereal, remember the following week they have the Nutri-Grain bars on sale for the same price and the same math would apply. Great lunch box goodies and it works out to $.50/ box of 6 so 8 cents per snack! :banana:

Thanks for posting that. I still have my rebate coupon and the coupons. I was just waiting until the start of school got closer to buy some lunchbox stuff with it. But we go through cereal in our house like no ones business, so that any of that you mention sounds like a good deal to me. :thumbsup2

Corinna and anyone else looking to do this, keep in mind that to qualify for that Kellogg's MIR you HAVE TO buy all your products on one receipt! You cannot buy some of the cereal this week and some Nutri-Grain next week and get that $10 MIR! Got it? :thumbsup2

Okay wait ~~~~adjusting flame suit just in case~~~~

Alright so I'm one of the "New Kids on the Block" here on the train so I'm betting this has happened before but I just have to put my piece out there. I have had two people sending me coupons since I jumped on the train and a special pressie for my birthday from another train rider. I have absolutely gotten some expired coupons and so what????? My current sender sends me the MOST amazing envelopes every week. I am seriously embarassed by her graciousness (:hug: Jen) and I cannot imagine pointing out to her or bothering Corinna with the fact that maybe a few of her coupons were out of date or any from my previous sender. You are NOT paying postage to receive these, you can easily throw them away, or you can forward them to a military family who can still use them so what is the beef?

I am so greatful that Corinna is doing this for us that I really don't see where she needs to be bothered with hearing that someone got a few dead coupons especially to the point where she needs to take time out of her personal life to send us messages about it! Life goes on and more than likely we'll make the same mistake at some point so....laugh and let it go! :rotfl:

Just my humble point of view.

~~~~slipping out of suit and off of soapbox~~~~
GOT IT!!!! :rotfl: Sorry, that is my 4-year old's favorite saying. :rotfl: "I want some milk....got it?" I'm full...got it?" "I can do my own seat belt...got it?" :rotfl:
Yes, I know that it had to be on the same receipt, that was also another reason why I was waiting until the start of school. I think Kellogg's did this last year as well if I remember right.
:rotfl: I may have to incorporate the "got it" saying into my monthly messages. :rotfl:
Thanks so much I did receive the envie last week. I understand stressful lives and Good Luck while your hubby is gone. I don't have one of those hubbies just kiddos.
Belinda
Accounting babe, your envelope will go ou tomorrow. Sorry for the delay, DH left yesterday for 3 months, and I have been working on term papers, so tings have been a little stresful...;)
Did you get last weeks?
I must say I agree with you. I would only tell my sender (not VegasNative) if I had expired c/os, and then only so that s/he wouldn't have to pay postage on them. I go ahead and send if they are over 7 days out, although I am sure I miss some of those:rolleyes: . If I ever screw up, MonyMony--PM me or make a post here so you don't have to bother Corinna :goodvibes :thumbsup2 .
I hope I don't miss any expiration dates but like I said I have bad eyes and with the small dates, the numbers are hard to read sometimes. :eek:
I am like some of the others that have voiced their opinions. I am not paying the postage so no big deal. I know if they are newly expired maybe the envie was prepared early and the PO was running slow.
My only other thought on it is if someone is sending mostly expireds, it would make it hard on the next person down the line as they wouldn't get as many coupons because they were expired and then the next person would not get as many and so on and so on.
I just put expireds in my expired envie to send to the military. :idea: I sent 2 large envies to both of the military families this week.
I am sure it is hard enough to keep the train running smooth with people not even getting envies etc.pirate: I would rather have an envie with a few expireds than not getting an envie at all.:rolleyes1
