New AP Rates Are Out

I just called to check what the discount would be for me in April and they told me the AP discount is all booked up.

Has anyone been successful in getting discounts at the Polynesian?

I had checked on the Poly for May 7 to May 12 and was told nothing was available with the AP discount.

Did you have them try different resorts and different room categories? If so and still couldn't get anything for your dates keep trying! I have had experience with things opening up when I called back later in the day or in the days after the rate was released.

I called this morning and had the AP rate applied to my existing reservation at WL. THe CM was amazing. She said there were AP rates available with DDP and without, no hard sell at all. I saved $300 off the CAA / AAA rate and have upgraded my room from standard to courtyard.

I'm so excited I'm going to burst! Thank you DISboards!!!!

Arhg - I'm going crazy. I'm trying so hard to save my mom money (she's taking us in May) but was told there was only courtyard rooms w/bunk beds left at WL. We can't use those and they were the same price as our standard AAA room rates anyway. I talked to Grand Gatherings line though - I'm calling the AP line now.

Then, I tried a 3rd time, different CM and I GOT IT!!!! Saved $450 on our trip I'm thrilled to say the least!

Got POP Century from April 29 to May 3 for $344!!!! Hoping the rumors of the DCG at WWofS turns out to be true for these dates!!!

I just called and got my one night stay (4/9/08) at POR for $129 (+ tax). So a savings of about $56 from same ressie yesterday.
I was on hold about 10 mins. She mentioned that I could now add the DDP, and when I told her I wasn't interested, she dropped it quickly.

I asked about the DDP for our trip in sept (at POP) and she said no b/c I booked that trip w/ the bounceback offer.

BWI garden view: 291.38
AKL pool view: 195.75


These are AWESOME rates and I am SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoo Hoo!

I switched from ASSports with AAA of $116.xx for one night to a WL Woods view BB room for $235.12 with AP discount. We'll be at the VWL's and I needed one night at the end (out of points!). This will be so much easier to move over to the lodge from the villas! Yippee!

Unbelievable...I just called and you would not believe the pressure to book a package. I am exhausted. They must be pushing them hard to have AP add dining. It is a good deal if you will be eating that much I suppose, but then you have to pay the whole package now instead of when you check in, like room only. Ahhhhhggggghhhhh. But, on a brighter side, I did save an additional 20 on my room reservation. Every little bit helps. We were already booked with the bounce back rate. Good luck to all.

We're considering getting an AP this year and need to ask a couple of (dumb - sorry ) questions as I'm really in the dark on APs.

The AP codes that just came out this a.m. go thru May 21st. - if your reservation extends beyond the 21st, can you get AP rate for the entire stay or will you just get discount on the nights thru the 21st and then back to rack rate for the 22nd on?

Also if your AP is current at check-in but expires at some point during your stay can you get discount for every night? - say my stay was 04/20-27th but my AP expires on 23rd - would I still get AP discount on entire stay?

Last stupid question - When you're calling to make your reservation now with AP code - can you do so without the AP # or voucher? I understand I have to have that at check-in but can I reserve room without one and purchase before I get there?
