I would prefer that discussions around the box be done in it's own thread ( http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=442267 ) so we don't clog up the FAQ thread but here is my take. I posted this in the poll thread the Disbug made as well but wanted to copy it here. I feel pretty strong about it too.

Again, I know it's fun to do and you want to show people what is there but I believe that pictures should not be posted publicly. I believe that the mystery and myth around the travels to get the box will be more fun if those that are going to look for it know nothing about it other than directions to get there.

I myself took pictures all allong the way to the box and even where it is but decided not to post them for this very reason.

Think of yourself as on of the few that have been to the box and know where it is and what it contains. I am looking forward to going back to it on our next trip to see all the new goodies since I left it.

I hope you understand. Please don't take me for a meany or party pooper.

Okay everyone on the WL FAQ thread . I have a question... I have seen THE FAMOUSE (oops, typo... but it's cute so I'll leave it!) BOX! The one, the only the original by Majestic AND I have left a message inside. I have taken 2 photographs which in no way disclose where the box is, as there is no background or frame of reference. What I want to know is... would you like me to post the pics as part of the fun, or would you rather not. The most votes wins and I will wait a week until we see what the majority wants. I will abide by the decision of the judges!

I will also put a link to the poll in my sig! Let me know what you think!

Ok. Another Flag Family question... Is there a minimum number of people that is allowed to participate? It's just my DS & I, and when I told him about it he got excited and now we have to pack his cub scout shirt.

A transportation question... We have PS for 7:30 a.m. @ Cape May's. What is the best way to get there from the WL? And no, we do not have a rental car. Or should I just reschedule it?

My in laws came down and stayed in a different room than us. They even allowed my father in law to join us. It was my FIL, DW, DD, and me up there that morning. Breathtaking. A real memory.

Oh I realized you meant minimum. I am not aware of any. Put your name in.

Wish I could answer. As of right now, no. My request for vacation days was rejected for the time I put in. Trying to see what days I CAN go. More info as I get it.

Get FC's screensaver!! It is so great....I know I already said this but I just had to share my love and excitement of it....I can almost imagine myself back at the lodge when I look at it.

Crazy4themouse: I am not aware of a minimum. It'll be me, DH, and DD and I'm hoping that's enough of a family. Seems to me a family is a family. If we were going the same time as you, I'd say let's be a 5 person DIS family.

I just wanted to chime in to let you all know what a wonderful thread this is! We were contemplating a first time ever trip to WDW in January, and reading through all of the posts here decided it for me! We're booked for the WL!

Thanks for all of the info. and looking forward to becoming a WL vet. I'm sure I'll have more ?'s as the date approaches!
