Anyway, my trip reports aren't ready yet, but I wanted to tell you a couple of things! We were in Rm 5014 (I think same as Tig-girl?). We had a view of the castle and just like KCDISDAD, we saw the new fireworks that will be starting soon. It is so much bigger and better than Fantasy in the Sky!

The beds were comfy, but the pillows not! I remember some talk about being able to hear noises like toilet flushing... well, no one warned me about the super powered toilet flush!! My DD was almost sucked down the Orlando sewer system!!

We didn't get to enjoy WL as much as we wanted to. I kind of packed a lot of things to do in our vacation. But, all the CMs were great (Love to hear "Welcome Home" from them). WC was great, the transportation was fine too... no more than a 10 minute wait for anything!

Oh, and Fred... I couldn't find the box! I forgot my directions at home so I tried to find it without them... IMPOSSIBLE! Told ya, not used to the woods! Well, I guess I will have to just go back! And, my DH has caught the bug, he already asked me when we should plan the next trip! YIPPEE! princess:

Congrats on the WL VET tag, welcome to the "family".
Disney is having Press Days this week and all the talk is on the new Wishes FW.

Last night was Press Day for Mission Sace.

Disney is trying to excite the locals to come out and from what I have seen on local news, they are doing it. Disney spokesperson saying the local business is their bread and butter and want to get them coming back to the parks. They are also advertising overseas to get back the international business.

Oh why did I miss them by 2 weeks!!!!!!! :upsidedow

This am they were talking abt riding Mission Space (loved that ride)! I want to go back!!! :moped:

Ok FloridaCat how many times have you seen the new WishesFW????...I still have appx. 36 days to wait...Also when I made my ressie at Lodge I made my nephew that is at UF in Gainsville his very first ever ressie in his name he will turn 19 on the 19th of this month. I know your DGD is also in Gainsville and was wondering about how long it would take him to drive to The Lodge (I-75 to turnpike then hwy 27 to 192)

This all came about at exactly 5:45 this MORNING, when my 2 yr old daughter crawled into bed with my husband and I and looked Daddy square in the eye, and said, "I wish I could go back to Dizzy Wuld." OUT OF THE BLUE.

She did this to me, too, last week, and when I told him about her saying that, I don't think he really believed she said it out of the blu, without any prompting from me. NOW HE BELIEVES. HA HA HA HA !!!!

Congrats on the return trip. We too had to settle for something other than WL because it is booked for our upcoming trip. But like you said, as long as we are at Disney, it's all good.

I'm so glad your back on this thread haven't heard from you in a while...Yep, those blue eyes would make anyone putty in your DD hands. Sorry about you not being able to get ressie at WL is your stay at Thanksgiving...I'm sure your planning a visit to The Lodge on your trip...(I did see you post a few days ago on Fred's Memory Box thread) You have to try and find it. ::yes::

I have that Graco stroller...In fact, I wrote I story for Graco about how I bought it for Disney World and titled the story "World Class Stroller"

AND THE WINNER IS FOR KEEPING THE WL Memory BOX A MYSTERY!

SO, sorry folks, no photos... you'll just have to go find that box yourself and give it a peak! But one thing I will add, (and wish it had been in the directions!)... when walking down the trail in search of the box, I would pick up a long stick for when you find it! :wave:

As for the stick, what do you mean? The area around the box isn't flooding at all is it? I was carefull not to place it too close the the swampy areas.
