FC, I do already have a membership valid through 12/03! I wonder if they are accepting entry to get the tix though!?!

the website is www.disneyclub.com and you will need to create your online account if you haven't already. Oh and one thing I should mention that I forgot, the viewing is in certain cities but most of the bigger ones are there.

Just checked the site! Nothing even remotely close! You would think they would atleast have 1 in NYC!

I'll be posting trip reports soon, but I'll go ahead and list a few highlights and lowlights here first.

Highlights:
- We were upgraded to a wood's view room overlooking the lobby!
- We were able to stay at the lodge last night and did not have to transfer to ASMo after all. The WL was not booked as I had been told. We even got to stay in our same room.
- After returning from a walk at the beach our first night my youngest was holding my hand and he yelled, "We're at Disney World!!! Yahoo!!" It felt like we should be in a commercial.
- Philharmagic was fabulous!!!!
- I'm glad I tried Mission Space, but I probably won't do it again. I didn't get sick at all, but I didn't like the feeling either. It was still a highlight though because it was definitely thrilling. I would probably do it again if I traveled with a large group and everyone was going on it together.
- My youngest son got to be a junior bellman at the ToT while we were waiting for my dh to ride. They dressed him up just like the castmembers on the ride. He looked so cute and he got to greet people as they came off the ride.
- Seeing how much my oldest son loved Dinosaur which he now proclaims as his new favorite ride. He doesn't get excited about much. So, I love to see him when he really enjoys something because he generally does not react to things very much and it's hard to tell whether or not he's having fun.

Lowlights:
- I felt bad on the airplane last Saturday. I think I had motion sickness because as soon as we got off the plane I felt instantly better.
- I felt bad all day Sunday and we didn't get much done our first full day. This was very disappointing to me and ended up ruining our dinner plans.
- I got motion sickness at DisneyQuest. This whole place made me queasy and I will not return.
- My boys were really zapped by the heat and this slowed us down.
- Cartier Town Car did not make note of the fact that we were staying at the WL our last night even though I called them and let them know of the change in our itinerary. We ended up hailing a taxi to catch our flight today. My and dh and I were both really mad about this and will not use them again.
- Lots of crying kids (not mine) and parents who ignored the signals that their kids needed to take a break. My boys who are 6 and 9 needed breaks and we took them. I saw many very young children being dragged around and it was very noticable that they were spent. We also saw many parents who looked like they were not having fun.

I post full reports later.

when we were at WDW last Thanksgiving, the only place I really noticed crying children was at MK... the parents were ignoring the obvious signs that the kids were tired!! I know they're on vacation too, but the kids need a break... they can't go 12 -14 hours straight!

My restaurant reviews are up on the restaurant board. I'd post a link if I knew how.

Welcome back, Loubelou!!

Wow, you guys have been busy this weekend...FC, thanks so much for the screensaver....I haven't had a chance to install but hopefully will get to it this week, I've got afull plate right now.

Fred, thanks so much for the addition of the pics....I will try to get you a few this week as well....unfortunatly most of my indoor WL pics are too dark....I guess I need to try to work on this for the next trip
:D

Oh, I forgot....My SIL is inquiring.....anybody have any info on the Jr. suites?

Ok we are back and I am posting(Fred). I can't think of anything but Disney. I want to go back already. We have a big family trip planned for December 2004. I loved the Lodge and I am hooked. Pictures do not do it justice. Trip reports later.:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Welcome ariel1974, and you are right, pictures can never do the lodge justice. We have to stay at that other lodge for our next trip but I will be visiting the WL.

Ok, I've been searching back through the old thread but it seems as if most of the ??'s were answered by the CM that is no olnger around.....I am trying to find these thing out...can anyone help

Are there connecting rooms in concierge?
Is there a standard room connected to a deluxe?
Can you get concierge on a deluxe room?
Are there rooms with bunkbeds on the concierge level?

If we wanted connecting rooms with a view of the pool does anyone have any idea about room #'s or areas?

thanks for any help

corky805,
I cant answer all the questions, but I can tell you there are connecting rooms on concierge, we had some last week :)

I also think you can get concierge access added to any room.

Hope that helps!

Welcome back and another member to the Merry Band of Kimmar's WL VETS.

So glad you loved it and glad we could help.

Because of the dark wood and furnishings, you have to overide the auto features of the camera. If it will let you do it. The "F" stop needs to be set higher then for a normal picture.

This site has a lot of info if you have not been here as well as pics of suites.

Welcome back to you and Shane and son. (Sorry I forgot his name!) I Already posted the picture of us in the FAQ Gallery. I know it's hard. The next few weeks will get better as they go. I am still in withdrawl but I made sure to take enough pictures to keep me satisfied while I am gone.

Yes I took lots of pics but I wanted to see as much as possible and of course share them all with you! :)

Did you go on a hunt for the box?

Hey! FINALLY got to adding my Flag Day Family pictures. There are lots of them and I warn ya, they are awsome! :)

Almost makes me feel like I was there. I am upset that I didn't actually do a panorama but I don't think I had time to anyway.

Oh well. ENJOY!

Hi Everyone!

Been back for a week from my first visit at the WL. Loved it and can't wait to go back. According to CM's the hotel's were only at 32% capacity.

We had the silver plan so did and saw it all (kind of).

For those of you who really don't want to go all out and spend money for conceirge don't sweat it. We booked a standard room and had a room with a great view of the castle and 2 queen sized beds!! I was so excited. My husband thought I was nuts as I would watch it change colors at night. They were also "practicing" the new Wishes firework show so we got to see a little "preview show"

Didn't see any lime green ribbons there thought.....did see FloridaCats sign at a table by the pool one day but the table was deserted.
