Well, I'm still trying to get a JBJ pic in my siggie, but no luck, just a broken pic sign! I should be able to do this!!!


Anyway, Tardin I don't think you have to worry about the Territory Lounge or the Roaring Forks being close to rooms. I don't think there are any rooms close by. If your room is close to the lobby, it is convenient to get to them though! We did the mug refill thing at the RF all the time, especially my DS who was constantly running for hot cocoa (it was cold when we were there ) And the Territory Lounge is right off the lobby next to the Artists Point. We did enjoy some wings and things in the lounge! Mermaids DS and both of my DS liked to go there after a long night at the parks and have a "snack"! And those neat little "adult beverages" they had weren't bad either!

To say HI to ALL! I am in the fast and furious phase of planning DD8's BD party and printing out her invites while I catch up on the boards! I am using the WL as my inspiration for a "Welcome to Camp Sierra" party! complete with cookout, scavenger hunt, hike to the lake for duck feeding, and overnight backyard campout (smores, campfire songs, and stories, etc...)

I'm putting the invitations in a brown paper sack filled with pine cones, needles, moss, leaves, maybe a plastic frog... and a granola bar (or trail mix). Then stapling it shut with an owl on the outside which has the invited child's name on a branch.

Still wishing we were at the Lodge, but this will be the next best thing!

I have to beg to differ about the Mission Space Ride! I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it! (But, OK... I do like the RNRC and the ToT, too!)

Thanks for the additional info. I think I'm starting to obsess over this room location thing. I just want things to be perfect for my DW and my two DD (did I use the correct abbreviations for wife and daughters?). From what I've read here the past few days, I don't think I will be disappointed with whatever room location I get.

I'm embarrased to tell this story but what the heck. After thinking about this for a bit, I went and asked DH if he know who JBJ was - he asked where from and I told him he was a rock star but didn't know who I was talking about. Of course I had to explain the whole thread and why I was asking. I then told him thie picture that was posted kinda looks like the rock star that was on Ally McBeal. His response was Bon Jovi - I said yea - he looks like him. Well - you can imagine the look I got (maybe not, you don't know him) anyway it was kinda like you idiot). He said Bon Jovi is actually John Bon Jovi - JBJ - get it.

I've gotta get out of my computer room!!!

Just so ya don't think I'm a lily-livered wimp re: the Mission: Space ride, I love Tower of Terror and RNR, too! Love roller coasters of any kind that I've tried, so far. The Hulk at Universal IofA is awesome, as is Dueling Dragons. But the G-Forces on MS are incredibly intense. My husband loved the GForces, but the spinning got to him.

I'd just love to know how they are able to create all of those different sensations!

If for any reason you do not lke your room, don't hesitate to request a change. If it can be done they will do it, same price range of course. Or maybe get lucky and get an upgrade.

If you have not done so go to page 22 this thread and read WL PT. 1,2,3,4 and I think that will answer a lot of your questions and help you understand the layout of WL.

What room request did you make when you made your ressies?

First off, thanks for the Mission Space review. I won't be riding it. That's for sure.

As for the pics, send whatever you want. If I need to, I will resize / crop them up for ya. (When I have a few minutes that is...)

As for my nick? Well, I am really into this band called Dream Theater. They are a progressive rock band with lots of jazz fusion influences. Check em out if you can! Anyway, they used to go by the name Majesty and I kinda liked that so I picked up Majestic. Of course, then I named my side business Majestic Networks which to me has a nice ring to it!

From what I see, it should work. It could be that the site you are linking to for the picture prevents links TO the picture from other sites. You may have to download the picture and put it somewhere else for hosting or find another picture.

NJFabFour.....I am insanely jealous of your Giants show....I really wanted to go but DH wouldn't hear of it I am glad you enjoyed it! I GUARANTEE if he returns to Giants in 2005 I WILL be there. (DH thought twice this year was enough... )

I don't think you will need warm clothes for outside..it's steaming there now but if you get cold in the air maybe a light sweater.

NJFabFour - I can't answer your question about the inside temp of the WL as I'm not yet a WL vet. But, I can tell you that this week last year was muggy and warm. Usually in the 80s at night with relatively high humidity. I was able to wear dress pants one evening comfortably, but I don't think you will "need" long pants. Definitely don't need jackets. Maybe carry a light sweater for dining in those really well air conditioned restaurants.

Oh, almost forgot. Please send Pixie Dust our way. My aunt who will be travelling with me may be getting laid off!!!!! That would mean no WL for me this year or anytime in the forseeable future. I REALLY don't want to have to cancel this trip. I'm trying to keep my expectations realistic AND saying prayers that she can keep her job and have money to support those 2 adorable princes of hers.
Where is Tinker Belle when you need her??

Hi,

Just back from a wonderful stay at WL last week (I posted a quick review last Friday) and I am missing it very much. I just wanted to thank you all for all the info going in and it truly is as magical as you all described.

I am happy to answer any Q.s. We were in room 5035. We ate at Roaring Forks (one time too many) and Whispering Canyon. We spent lots of time at pool, used both boats and buses, and participated in some of the on-site activities.
