Never Done the DDP ?

If my DH and I get the DDP package that includes park tickets can we get a ticket for my 4 year old DS and no DDP? He is not the greatest eater and I think it would be such a waist of money to get this for him, but I think it is a great deal for the two of us! Thanks for your help or suggestions!

The DDP is an all or nothing option for the room.

Actually, for kids the DDP is a terrific deal at $9.99 per day. One dinner at Chef Mickey's will run you $14.99 for your ds, and you'll still get a CS meal and snack for free with the DDP. If he's a picky eater--the buffets are a great way to go because you can almost always find something he'll eat.

And if he's not a big eater, you and your dh can use his snack credits, and even his CS credits if you don't mind eating kids' meals (at breakfast, most are identical to the adult meals, just smaller).

If you're planning for 2009, no one is certain what the options and prices will be yet.

Everyone on the room reservation over the age of 2 must get the DDP in order to add DDP to your reservation package.

Nope - if you're over the age of 2, then you're 3.

"Over the age of 3" would have been 4 and up.

We love the dining plan! It is an especially great deal for children. We have four kids and there is just no way we could feed each of them for less than $10.00 per day at Disney World.

Yes, unfortunately, I already know that. This will be our thrid trip since she turned 10 (apparently, an adult in Disney's eyes), but we still save hundreds of dollars using the dining plan, even if just 3 of the 4 kids are under 10. Sorry, guess I should have made that more clear in my previous post.

Three kids for 10 bucks a day is still really good. I might actually like the dining plan if I had kids.

Readers probably do need to know you can't get the plan for an 11 year old for $10.
