Ack, I'm about ready to quit going to the doctor because when you go for one thing then they find something else wrong with you!
I went this morning for my yearly physical/pap, and my 6-month diabetic checkup. After I was dressed and waiting for the nurse to bring my new prescriptions and the paper for my mammogram appointment, the doctor poked her head back into the room and said, "I'm also going to have you get a pelvic ultrasound when you go in for your mammogram."
She said normally you don't feel the ovaries when you're doing a pelvic exam, but she could feel my right ovary.
My periods have been eratic too, two of them last month. Yuck.
So, has anyone else had these problems and if so, how nervous should I be about it?
I'm trying not to worry, but...well, you know...
