Need to vent -- My guide won't call me back!

I should say 'hasn't called me back'.... Spoke with our guide yesterday morning about booking our developer points. She said she'd call MS and get right back to me. I'm still waiting for a return phone call, is this normal? Wondering if most people have to wait a day or more for a follow up call.

Why did you call your guide for a reservation instead of MS?

She said we needed to go through her to book the dev. points. Did she give me bad information?

Developers points are normally booked through Member Services, not guides.

Hmmm, very interesting. I wonder why she told me to call her when we were ready to book then? And why wouldn't she have directed me to MS when I called her yesterday?

I went thru MS to book our Dec trip and could not get the 23 of Dec, but I could get 18-23, then the 24-27. They told me that getting that day was going to be next to impossible because of the holiday season. So I called our agent and told him the story within three hours he had that night booked and confirmed, I am still confused to why that the only place we can use devolper points is at SSR, I guess it doesn't matter because it is going to fun.

I'd go ahead and call MS today.

My guide said the same thing when we purchased, so it must be what they've been told to do. But it didn't make sense to me to have him in the middle, so when I booked SSR using my developer points I just called MS directly, as others have advised you to do. It seemed to work out fine, although getting a confirmation letter for a reservation booked using developer points takes forever.....but that's a different topic.

She called me back but to no avail. Couldn't get the res we wanted. When I call to book again it will definitely be MS.
