I went to the Contemporary in Sept of 06 and am planning a trip back in Sept of 08. DH wants an idea of what this will run. Can anyone tell me about how much the prices vary from year to year? We are looking at the Poly for 10 days with dining...(oh please, oh please offer free ) I know that pulling it up on the disney sight for 07 is pretty expensive. My question is, if the dining is not offered free, what are my options for getting discounts and not paying rack rate for the package? Any ideas? Also, how soon in advance can I book a package?

You can get a discount, if nothing else, then AAA if you are a member and it is worth the 54.00 to become a member to get the discount.

Check out Mousesavers and do a search for "Historical Information on Walt Disney World Resort Discounts" and that will give you an idea of what has happened in years past with discounts.

As far as past room rates, I couldn't find anything. I will tell you that rack rate on a value resort has gone up maybe 8 dollars a night in the past five years we have gone.
