Need help with Digital Scrapbooking - Frames

I'm hoping somebody can help me.

I am really really new to Digital Scrapbooking and have been looking at others work for inspiration. I really love the Layouts with quite a few pictures on that all have a white frame round them. The pictures are kind of linked in a random kind of way.

I have been trying to purchase these frames? is that right - or can I do something like it in Photoshop - I use CS4.

The ones I have found on Scrapbooking websites to purchase are all rather ornate. What I want is just the plain white border which I can then apply a drop shadow to.

Can anybody point me in the right direction??

If you are wanting to collage photos, you can do so in Picasa. You can download it here. Other than that, I think you might want to search for "templates" for digital scrapbooking. I'm not a digi scrapper, so that may be the wrong term.

templates is right. there are a ton of free things out there.
