Hi everyone,

We decided (actually DH didn't want to do the Deluxe plan and I really wanted 2 snacks per day for F&W) to do the QSDP this trip. We also want to eat at some TS places and pay OOP.

I'm looking for suggestions of places you would pay OOP for. I'm looking to do around 4 meals (combination of BF, lunch and dinner).

I already have reservations for lunch at Le Cellier and dinner at Ohana. Would you keep those or go for something else?

depends on what you are willing to pay. If you want the "Disney Experience" and keep the cost low, do breakfast at CP,1900,Cape may, Tusker house. All are at or about $20 per adult. If cost is not a problem then Don Shula's at the Dolphin resort. Here is the link to the restaurant Shula's

Here is the link to the menus here on the DIS

Personally I am not a fan of 'ohana, service experience (3 different trips) was so poor we will not go back

If it is in the budget, I would splurge on a Signature dinner. Maybe Flying Fish or somewhere at the Swan or Dolphin

The Fountain there is similar in menu to B&C but not as crazy. Have not had a meal there we haven't liked

Good luck planning! :thumbsup2

We do OOP and I try to fit in as many places that are not on the dining plan. The afternoon tea at GF, the restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin, Bistro de Paris, etc.

I have the basic dining plan, but decided to add a couple of meals OOP just to try.
Here's my list:
Breakfast- Boma and Kona Cafe
Lunch- Rose and Crown (just going to do the cheese platter and scotch egg)
Dinner- Cali Grill (main entrees didn't sound appealing so opting for appetizers, desserts)

We pay OOP for Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club Resort. It's an old fashioned Ice Cream Parlor feel. Not very expensive, good food and great ice cream. we go for our lunch on our HS day rather than eating in the park and it give us a chance to see the BW area.

I've paid OOP for Sci-Fi Dine Inn before at lunch time, and probably will do so again. The prices aren't that much different from a Red Robin or Friday's.
