Please someone help me,
Find me a nice place to eat no budget, where i can wear jeans a t-shirt right out of the park, and yet have a very nice meal. I eat anything my fiance is the tough one, she doesnt like "fancy food" she just wants to eat a good meal...
We've enjoyed alfredos and fultons on many occasions but im looking for something a bit nicer. Just to get a little more on target, she hates the boardwalk area, its hard to get her to even get a kitchen sink she feels the area is just way too stuffy...

I have planned one character meal for us we're having dinner at 1900 park fare for dinner with Cindy :Pinkbounc my fiance's favorite princess, and we're eatting at my favorite place even though she doesnt really specifically enjoy it, Columbia Harbor House (I know its odd but it is my fave)

Thanks everyeone

Chris

I haven't been to WDW since I was 12, but www.allearsnet.com has all of the dining menus so you can find the prices and foods that are good for you. HTH!

How about the Kona cafe at the Polynesian or Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary? Both have really good food and the food is not overly fancy.

When you say nicer than Alfredo's or Fulton's, do you mean a fancier restaurant or better food? But if the Boardwalk and Y&BC is too stuffy for her, I'm not sure you want fancier?

I agree that Kona Cafe is great but it is not elegant. Grand Floridian Cafe is a pretty spot with some plainer options. But if the Epcot resorts seem stuffy to her, GF probably will as well.

Sounds like you have a tough task to find a place to please her. Good luck with it. :flower:

You could go to Narcoosees at the GF. I've seen everything from shorts to slacks and the food is excellent.

If she thinks Boardwalk is stuffy then I suggest Trail's End at Fort Wilderness. It's comfort food buffet and definitely not stuffy.

Whispering Canyon might be a good place for her too.

What about the Cape May Cafe? The atmosphere is laid back yet upscale, and the food is delicious. :)

Le Cellier has good food, a nice atmosphere, plus you eat in the basement. How unassuming is that?

Yacht Club Galley is also good, not that fancy.

LeCellier at Epcot is where you want to be! It is exactly what you described in your original post!

Le Cellier, Brown and derby, Whispering Canyon Cafe or artist's point, Ohana's, CRT--for dinner??

Thank you all for your help,

We have decided that we're going to eat at more of the "moderate" sit down places that we've skipped because most trips we eat almost only counter service to help the budget. We have planned to eat one character meal as i said at 1900 park faire, and we've got setup the scifi, the 50 prime time, tusker house, alfredos and we've comproimsed so i can get my kitchen sink :cool1:

Well less then a week till im married, :wizard:

Chris

Best Wishes to you and your bride, Chris!

And happy dining at WDW. Let us know about all your good meals when you get back. :sunny:
