Need help for an autistic boy

I post on an eBay message board. Another member posted on there that her son is 15 yrs old and autistic and will only sleep on his bed if he has 101 Dalmatians Cowboy comforter and sheets. She has been lucky and found replacement sheets, but has had no luck in finding a replacement comforter.

I have been searching for her along with others, and racking my brain when I thought of here, I am hoping that maybe someone on here might know of somewhere that we haven't thought of.

This sounds crazy, but take a picture and then print the picture on fabric transfers and then make a quilt .....

This is what I was thinking. It's very easy. The other thing she could do is find a picture online and print it on t shirt transfers and then iron them onto sheets and pillowcases.

You could also put out an ad on Craig's list ...

I wanted a copy of a menu in San Fran in 1970, so I put out an ad on CL in SF and actually found someone who could make me a copy of the menu - he used to work there ... so sometimes you just need to ask for what you want, I bet there are people with the comforter just sitting in the attic or basement ...

Or maybe a place that sells sewing material has a similar pattern, a comforter oughta be easy to have made, right?

I think I have a well loved one, I know I had it and don;t remember giving it to dil...I will have to look. It is well loved though. no holes, just not brilliant and new.
