Need Ferry Boat Help!!!

During our last trip to Disney in 2005 we went to 1900 Park Fare for dinner. On our way back to POP we used the Ferry - only a dad and his 2 kids were on it, we had a magical view of Wishes and it was one of the most magical moments of our trip.

My question is this, we will be driving to and from all of our destinations on our next trip in Nov. Where does the Ferry run (to and from)? We won't be doing a lot of sight seeing to other resorts so would there be a reason we would need to use the Ferry on our next trip? I'm looking for a reason to get my dad on a boat

The only ferry I know runs from the Ticket and Transportation Center (Magic Kingdom parking lot) to the Magic Kingdom. Just time it so you're betwen the park and the car during Wishes.

Other GIANT ferry boats run: TTC >MK >TTC >MK >

There are others that run between MK and Ft. Wilderness and/or Wilderness Lodge
There are others that run between Ft. Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge, and Contemporary.

There are others boats (Friendships) that run DHS > Swan/Dolphin > Yacht/Beach Club > Boardwalk > Epcot International Gateway.

There are other boats (Friendships) that run between both sides of Epcot's World Showcase.

There are other boats (pontoons) that run between Downtown Disney and the resorts in that area.

Sorry I'm confused.. Can you take the Ferry from TTC to MK and back?

There are 3 ferries you can take:

MK>Grand Floridian>Poly>MK
MK>TTC>MK
MK>Wilderness Lodge>Fort Wilderness>Contemporary>MK

You can stop at any of these locations for a tour or walk or you can also take the Monorail from any of them except for Wildnerness Lodge and Fort Wilderness.

I love these boats. It is my goal to drive one of them when I retire.

Yes you can. You could also throw the monorail into the equation if you want to. Take the boat from TTC to MK and take a monorail ride back. There could be worse ways to spend your time.

In the later afternoons (forget exactly what time, I think 3pm) through the evenings, they DO add that route.
