I just have a tip: ground turkey requires EXTRA seasoning. Often times, recipes include amounts that season ground beef nicely, but leave the turkey tasting bland. I double, sometimes triple, stated seasoning amounts.
No idea why Turkey is so tough to season.
I make turkey meatloaf (would use to make burgers as well), and I am pouring in the garlic and Italian seasonings. (2-3 tbsp).
Can you send me your meatloaf recipe please when you have a sec? Do you use breadcrumbs? None of the ones I've found do, but I wonder if they hold together on the grill?
I make mine with 1 lb lean ground turkey, 1.5 Tbsp mexican chili powder, 3 tsp lime juice, 2 chopped green onions (fine), salt & pepper. I top them with a slice of turkey bacon and a slice of 2% cheese and squeeze a small spoon of bbq sauce on them. My whole family likes them.
