I found a few online, but I'd prefer to use something tried and true and that has some FLAVOR.

I just have a tip: ground turkey requires EXTRA seasoning. Often times, recipes include amounts that season ground beef nicely, but leave the turkey tasting bland. I double, sometimes triple, stated seasoning amounts.

No idea why Turkey is so tough to season.

I make turkey meatloaf (would use to make burgers as well), and I am pouring in the garlic and Italian seasonings. (2-3 tbsp).

Can you send me your meatloaf recipe please when you have a sec? Do you use breadcrumbs? None of the ones I've found do, but I wonder if they hold together on the grill?

When I make turkey meatloaf, I use Stove top stuffing instead of breadcrumbs. It keeps it moist and adds flavor.

We do a good one from the tobassco website. It's the chipolte turkey burger

Google oprah Winfrey turkey burgers or mar a lago turkey burgers. I'm making them today. The best ever. Make extra and freeze them.

I just add terriyaki and ginger to them- let them marinade for about 4 hours- then grill them. MMMM We like them that way sometimes add a grilled pinapple slice if I have it in the house.

I make turkey meatballs though that we like better than ground beef ones. I just mix about 1 cup of milk, one egg, 1/2 cup parm cheese, tons of ground pepper, garlic powder and then enough 4c seasoned bread crumbs to make it like a slurry - so a little watery sloppy mess. Add in about a pound of ground turkey.
Ball them up and I like to fry them in a little olive oil. (or I suppose you could bake them to be healthier)

If you're willing to try something unusual I LOVE my version of thishttp://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Crunchy-Coconut-and-Lime-Burgers/Detail.aspx recipe. It calls for beef but I use ground turkey instead. I altered it a little more by not using the egg (never thought I needed it), the cilantro, and I use sweetened shredded coconut because I keep it in the freezer. I usually buy one of the big packs of ground turkey and make a huge batch and freeze half because we cook them all the time. I don't make the mayo or the topping because I'm lazy but everyone that eats the burgers loves them. They are best on Hawaiian sweet rolls and you can buy the snacker or hamburger bun size ones at most grocery stores. Since I make such a big batch I don't measure anything, I just toss stuff in til it looks and smells right. lol

I make mine with 1 lb lean ground turkey, 1.5 Tbsp mexican chili powder, 3 tsp lime juice, 2 chopped green onions (fine), salt & pepper. I top them with a slice of turkey bacon and a slice of 2% cheese and squeeze a small spoon of bbq sauce on them. My whole family likes them.

That sounds really good too! I think I'll try these- thanks for sharing!

I usually mix about 2 pounds of ground turkey with 1 container (8 oz, I think) of crumbled feta cheese and 2 tsp Greek seasoning. We get about 8 burgers out of this which leaves a few left over, but those don't last long in our house. My entire family loves these. But it will be fun to try some of the other ones mentioned here.
