Navigator's Verandah question

We are planning to book a 7-night western and trying to decide which kind of cabin we'd like. There will be 4 of us traveling.

I think we'd really enjoy a navigator's verandah, but from the info I've seen so far, it seems that they only sleep 3 people. The cabin size and layout appears to be the same as the regular verandah, but some of the regular verandah rooms have the pull-down bed for a 4th person.

Anyone know if any of the navigator verandah cabins have this pull-down bed?
Thanks!

None of the three different category 7's I've been in have had the pulldown berth. Also, the brouchure lists category 7's as sleeping three, while they list categories 5 & 6 as "sleeps 3, some sleep 4." While the layout of the rooms, as you said, is the same, I don't think any of the cat. 7's sleep 4, so unfortunately that won't be an option for you.

Well now you can get a category 6 or category 5 verandah room with an obstructed view for the same price as a category 7. So if price is the reason you are looking at the category 7, check out these rooms. I don't know how many they sleep though if its 3 or 4. There is a thread on it with the room numbers, so you can ask DCL.

Good Luck

Señor Ferrari- I was afraid that was going to be the case. Had my hopes up for a moment though.

Mjasp- Yes, I've been reading the thread on the reclassified cabins. Actually, I was looking at some pics of the nav. verandahs and they really appealed to me. Sort of cozy looking. The cheaper price would have just been icing on the cake, so to speak. Normally, it would just be three of us traveling, but we invited my mil along, so maybe next time for the nav.

Good thing dh is asleep or he'd be kidding me about planning the second cruise before we've even taken the first!

Just a tidbit of info! When we cruised aboard the Disney Magic last year, we originally booked a deluxe outside. When we checked in at the docks, we asked how much to upgrade. Well, we upgraded to a verandah cabin on a much higher level with 4 of us in the cabin and only paid $200 more for the family.
