Excuse me if I am NOT excited about SNOW I promise I will have pix to show you in Feb of REAL snow We did have our first snowfall today , it didn't last long and it didn't stick !! Roads were fine !!

We walked in and ate in our park attire. But there were people there dressed a little nicer. I think it's whatever goes!!

Ok, great!! I can't wait to try this place.

Oh... please send some up this way! You are cheating us out of our white stuff!! I need snow to get in the Christmas mood!!

very cool!!!! i bet your DS is super excited (and so are you)! i'm a southern girl too so i know how exciting snow can be. we usually got a few good snows every year in nashville, but once i moved to georgia all we got was nasty ice. it's amazing what a difference that 300 miles makes when it comes to winter weather. i've been here since 1997 and we've only gotten a few light dustings, but mostly just ICE. well, this past march we got LOTS of snow!!!!!! it was so awesome. i hope you guys get at least a little bit to have fun with!

Ugh. The snow is headed North and will be here tomorrow according to weather reports. I'm bummed because my high school's football team is in the Superbowl tomorrow and I was hoping to go and cheer them on. I don't think I'm going to feel like making the hour trek in the "heavy wet snow" that's predicted though. I hope you have fun in it!

Love the doggies poopin' in the snow! The pictures are all so beautiful. Ya'll got a lot more than we have. We had more last year but it still wasn't like that. Too funny that Ray brought out the boogie board! I bet it did go a lot faster. Looks like fun!

Ok, so the picture of your dog in the blanket on the couch......I swear that fabric looks like my couch!! I wonder if we have the same furniture?? Mine is brown and has small pillows that have circles and squiggly lines on them. Is that what you have?

Ok, so the picture of your dog in the blanket on the couch......I swear that fabric looks like my couch!! I wonder if we have the same furniture?? Mine is brown and has small pillows that have circles and squiggly lines on them. Is that what you have?

it came with some pillows that we don't use but that sounds like the same kind of pillows. only my couch is more of a cream color with brown/olive green threading. it's a sectional with a chaise (sp?) lounge on one end. we originally bought it for our wreck room upstairs and had really nice furniture down in the living room - an olive green couch and an eggplant loveseat with an accent chair that had both colors in it. but our dogs were never taught not to get on the furniture (our own fault) and you can't teach old dogs new tricks and they were ruining the nice furniture down here. we stay down here more than we go upstairs because it gets hot up there. so we switched out the couches. as a result this sectional is getting really worn really fast, but i guess that's what we bought it for!

Hmmm, maybe not then. LOL They may just be a little similar. Mine is a light brown and dark brown. It's not a sectional but it does have a chase!

The snow is over! It lasted about an hour or so. I'm posting a couple more pictures of it sticking to the ground but that's pretty much all we got. (posting them in the earlier post above) This morning when I let the dog out it was pretty much all gone. The air is burning cold, though! It hurts when you breathe it in. We are staying inside today.

Morning Rosie! I've got to tell you.... I am so excited about our big dinner with everyone!!! I told DH about it last night. I said "oh by the way we aren't eating at coral reef anymore. Now we have reservations with EVERYONE at the new "Wave" restaurant at The contemporary" He says...."REALLY?? Oh how cool!" He doesn't even blink an eye anymore when I tell him I've changed our plans around.

He's excited to get to see everyone again too. This is going to be so much fun!

I'm sure the snow in Alaska would be better anyway. Ours was WET!! We only stayed out there for about 15 -20 minutes at a time and were soaked when we came in. It was fun for a little while.

As a former NYer, I agree, I like snow more now that I moved South

The little bit that goes away fast is great. The large amounts and the cold make it stick around far longer than is necessary. It gets all piled up and then turns black and gross.

We get the ice too - that makes driving sooo exciting. So much in fact that we just close everything at the forecast of snow

If I break out a winter coat a couple times a year, it makes it worth me owning one. I do not like being cold.
