My Thrift Shop/Clearance Disney game!

My deal isn't as great as some but I got this zip up jacket at the Disney Outlet in the Wisconsin Dells. The price at DL was $59.95. I got it for $20.23---50% off + 25% off since it was clearance and an extra 10% off with a mall coupon.
We were just at DL in Aug so this is my belated souvenir. 20160914_103951.jpg Front

I'm a frequent Goodwill shopper (I think of it as a game too!), so I've found quite a few Disney items. I don't buy everything I see, but off the top of my head, I did get a very nice Mickey silhouette wooden picture frame that I used for a vacation photo, a Rock N Roller Coaster wine glass, and an Expedition Everest mug, all of which I kept for myself. I also found a vintage Flower stuffed animal that sold on Ebay for $25, and my best find was a like-new Pal Mickey that I bought for $4.99 and sold for $75 on Ebay!
I do see a ton of Disney merch while I'm thrifting, and it's hard to turn away from things sometimes. But I only have so much room. :)

I thrift all the time, Wed. is my fave because three thrift stores around me are 50% off, I mainly go to Salvation Army. I buy a lot of my Disney dvds there, most even still have the rewards codes in them. Most recently a WDW picture frame, some lithographs from the Disney Store, A Lefou's Brew mug, and a Disney Store Pocahontas shirt. It's fun to see what you can find.

I have to tell myself that just because its "Disney" doesn't mean I have to buy it :) Unfortunately, my Goodwill is horrible. The only thing I have found is a refillable mug. So maybe that's a good thing :):)

I can't believe I forgot about this, but this was my real best find. Early in my merch-flipping endeavor,I found a vintage full-sized Dumbo sheet set in really good condition at a Savers. I think I paid about $9 for the flat and fitted sheets. They sold on Ebay for close to $200!!! That day I also bought a vintage Mickey & Minnie hot air balloon pattern sheet set, a Bambi set, a Fab Five set, and a Smurfs set. Someone must have donated all of their childhood bedding at once. They all sold for a profit, but the Dumbo set was the clear winner. I made a tidy sum on that haul, and most everything was sold to bidders in Japan.
