are any of you renting a full size for 10 days? I have been checking daily for rate reductions and it finally went down today ($5.00 less) so now we're at $203 for full size, 10 days 8/28 - 9/2. Just wondering if I might find the rate lower as the dates draws closer and what others have been able to get full sizes for for 10 day rentals. Thanks!

Finally, June rates seem to be starting to go down. I just checked my Full Size for 6/23-7/1 and it dropped by about $5. OK, granted it's not much, but it is the first time it has moved since I made my original ressie a couple of months ago.

Lets hope it keeps moving in that direction...

I had a reservation for a full size for 11 days Oct.1-11th for $235.22 and was pleased with it. Thanks to these boards I checked it today and it had gone down! I'm now getting my 11 days for $198.54!!!! I think thats is an awesome rate. I'm using the priceless contract and the $20 coupon. Does anyone know if I can also apply the AARP discount to make it even cheaper??

if you don't mind me asking, what was your base rate for the 7 days and what was the daily rate for the remaining days? I am using the same codes (priceless & entertainment) as you and paying a little more for 1 less day. The only thing I can think of is that our dates are still in a higher rate period ~ maybe because it is still summer time. Do the rental agencies work like that ~ higher rates for higher travel seasons?

Cepmom----- The base rate for 7 days is 118.99 and the price for my 4 extra days is 79.32. total 198.31 - 39.83 for discounts = 158.48 plus taxes = 198.54.

our base rate for 7 days is $137.59 and the three extra days total $68.79. I guess it must be just be a higher time period. Keeping my fingers crossed it will keep going down!!

Thanks to everyone here, I have joined EA and saved about $40.00 on my current reservation. I used the Priceless code, but for some reason, it will not allow me to add the entertainment book coupon.....

I put the priceless code where it should be and the entertainment coupon number where it asks for coupon code and it tells me error on page and will not go any further.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Check to make sure you are meeting the requirements of the coupon. The $20 off coupon requires a 5 day min. rental. Other coupons have certain restrictions.

I had a weird browser at work. It would not give me a coupon box so I would have to do my checking from home.... it was really weird....

Try a different browser and check the coupon rules.

If your coupon does not meet the parameters the computer kicks it out too. Check to make sure you are using the 05 coupon code. The $20 off code is 10009123.

What are your dates and size of car wanted, I can run a check for you...

Wow! I tried the initial coupon with the provided code numbers for a week rental from Denver in peak ski season. Then I redid it this way and it was even less. I was really surprised at the high cost of rentals from Denver.....with this I got it to about $150! Hooray!

Thanks for the reminders! I started out with a rate of $215 for 9 days. Next check it was $197 and today it's down to $150.02!! This is great! Now if only I could get rates like that here in NJ at Newark Airport!

While I've never been asked to show my Entertainment Card when checking out with a coupon, it never hurts to have one just in case.

I just wanted to add that I was able to get my rate down to $101.80 for a one-week rental of an intermediate using the Priceless code and the Entertainment coupon. But even better yet, when I use the product code WEBK, I was able to book a full-size for only $109.49 for the same dates! For under $8 more, I'm getting more trunk space and legroom! Whooot! Whooot!

Yup, June is falling! WHO HOO!
After 2 weeks of checking with an already very good rate during July 4th, the rate went down another $6.50. I am not down to $191.21 for a 10 day rental intermediate emerald aisle for 10 days.

That is a very good rate. The best I could get last October was $250.00 for a similar rental.

And I am at the 4-month mark today. Only 120 days to go!
