My National Rate went down again!!

I am so excited. I had originally booked National Emerald Reserve full size for 7 days (May 31-June 7) at a rate of $120.31. I just went to check it and I got $115.52! I used the Priceless and ET Book codes.

I need to thank everyone for sharing their National rate successes!!! I thought I had this great rate with Budget for my 10 day trip in April and I just took almost $40.00 off it using the Priceless/Ent combo that everyone is shaing about !!!! Are any of you Emerald Club members? Just want to ake sure there are no glitches combing these 2 with the Emerald Club memebership. I thought when you used a coupon you always had to go to the counter but my reservation says go to the Emerald Aisle to get my car(would love to get one of those G6's!!!!).

I was able to knock another $10 off my rental for the end of April (intermediate, 1-week)!

Even better, I used the internet specials to re-book a minivan rental I have for Easter week (Phila area) and I saved $50 off my original ressie! I wouldn't have even thought to look for a better rate if you hadn't posted. Thanks!!!!

For those of you who need minivans, the internet rate for ressies made now until 5/25/2005 is $235! It works for MCO as well as here in Philly. Just click on the "Specials to Go" link near the top of the NationalCars.com website. I was able to get an additional $38.80 off by booking thru the Emerald Club and using the 1-week Entertainment Coupon code.

Thank you so much for the info. I had originally booked with National then rebooked at a lower rate with Budget. Based on your information I rechecked National and saved $25 over the rate I got with Budget. Every little bit helps!

Thank you-I had cars reserved for 4 day pre and 2 day post cruise. Was able to switch to National and have a lower rate for 10 days even when I include the 4 day port parking. This way it is a lot more convienent. Can leave things in the trunk which we do not need for the cruise and also do not have the mess of taking the shuttle. Thanks again.

I have to wonder if I'm doing something wrong. The best I could get was $128.61 for a week. I have an upgrade coupon, selected compact and reseved Intermediate. I tried Priceless code but found Carlson code to be cheaper. What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi! My rate went down again (3rd time in 2 weeks). It's now at $134 and change (down $8 since Sunday) for an 8 day full size rental 4/30-5/7. I'm using the priceless code and entertainment book coupon.

First of all, I have found that you will save more if you use the $20 off coupon with National. The upgrade coupon doesn't seem to save you as much.

for an intermediate off the aisle with a base rate of $159.99. With Priceless and Ent. coupon the rate ended up at $150.99 with tax.

Just checked again (have been checking all week) and the rate dropped. So I rebooked and now have an intermediate w/ tax for $108.81 for the week. Our tentative travel dates are 11/5-11/12.
