Well I knew today would be a bad one. I just didnt realize how bad!  For DDs Toddler Class Picnic I had signed up to bring a spinach salad.  I found a great recipe w/ mango and candied walnuts.  Those walnuts became a problem!  After I had candied the darn things, I tasted one to see what it tasted like  OMG!!!!! I had doubled the recipe when I made the walnuts, but didnt end up needing to double the salad.  I had an extra cup of candied walnuts.  They are all gone now.  I couldnt stop. 
 
I didnt do much better at the Picnic (I knew this one would be a tough.)  One mom had brought homemade tamales, sweet & spicy. Her tamales are to die for. I had one of each, along with a bunch of other stuff.  It is the first time that I have had that uncomfortably full feeling in a long time. Ugh!
Then, I carbo-crashed in the afternoon.  I was reading a book at the end of DDs swim practice and nearly fell asleep in the chair. Granted, I only had about 4 hours of sleep last night and not a lot more the previous night.  So what do we have for dinner? DH feels like pizza!  
To top it all off, since I was running around all day (only sat down for those last 15 minutes at swim practice), I had not even come close to drinking enough water.  Since I didnt want to miss a day for the June hydration challenge (yes, I am competitive!) I drank 54 oz with dinner.  I think I might float away now
Food:
8:10a  GoLean Cereal, 12 oz skim milk
9:30a  1/4c candied walnuts, 1/4c sliced mango
11:30a  Toddler Class Picnic: sweet tamale, spicy tamale, big slice of veggie quiche, 3c spinach and mango salad, 1/4c pasta salad
2:00p  ½ c candied walnuts
3:30p  1/3c banana chips
6:00p  ½ c candied walnuts
6:30p  1c spinach and mango salad, 1 slice pizza (at least all the water filled me up and I didnt have a second piece of pizza!)
Totals (guesstimates)
Cal: 2223g, Fat: 141g!, Carbs: 193g, Fiber: 29g, Protein: 79g
Water: 104 oz
Exercise: 60 minutes, walked w/ jogger stroller to Toddler Class, 30 minutes each way.
Tomorrow is the Aloha Party, a school wide family function.  I already selected a chicken salad as my dinner item and plan on giving my ice cream to the kids. Hopefully, I can get through that one with relatively little damage.

Amy, Yep.  DH has even gotten as far as the airport and had a meeting cancelled or more often, he gets called to go on a trip with only a day's notice.  I'm used to it.  Generally he is only gone for a few days though. A month would be tough! I haven't put weights in yet. I know I should. 
Amy, I remember going to Soup Plantation in the past and having two platefuls of salad, soups, and multiple muffins and desserts. I wonder now how I could have eaten that much?  Pool drinks and vacations go together for me. Have a great time at the original Mouse House next week!  
 
Jane: Honey butter is so good! But I knew that I would have a challenging day today, so I better cut back where ever else I could.  Our family really likes Italian food, both the american version and authentic.  We went to Italy a couple of years ago for 2.5 weeks (Tagged along on one of DH's business trips!) The food was heavenly.  DD's made a point of finding a new gelato shop for us each day.  Surprisingly, I didn't gain a single pound on that trip.  Within each city we walked just about everywhere we went and climbed hundreds (maybe thousands!) of stairs. I was still nursing youngest DD (9 mos at the time) which helped too.
