A few weeks ago, we were nearly in the same type of accident!!! (Due to oil on a rain-slick road... not a trailer...) The truck that had just gone by us, completely lost control, hit the guard rail. flipped a couple of times, just inches from us! Luckily, DH was able to maintain just a bit of control over our vehicle, and we just BARELY missed hitting this truck head on... The "What If's" are terrifying!!!

(The driver of that truck, miraculously, also crawled right out to the wreckage)

I know it is hard what you are going thru. And I know that you are trying to be strong. But, do give yourself some time!!! It is definately Okay to be upset about this!!! HUGS!!!!

Thank God you & your family are alright! That was such a miracle that you were able to just walk away from the accident. I agree with everyone who has said that you need to get help as well as your DH & DD. You can't be there for everyone unless you are taken care of. (((HUGS)))

This was on page 2 of our hudson valley paper.
This morning DD and I took a walk to the store to get the paper and they were all talking about the accident, the workers and customers. DD said hey, that's us you're talking about! Everyone was coming up to us and saying they are glad we are OK. Really nice, DD felt special.

DH isn't feeling well so we think he might need to go back to the hospital today and not wait for the Dr appt. tomorrow. He is feeling numbness on the side of his head and head achs along with really bad back pain. Everyone else seems to be OK. I still don't know what happened to the truck driver but I am determined to find out. I just need to know he's OK.

OMG, I was working in my house yesterday and listening to the radio and I heard all about that accident (I'm across the river). How horrible! Whenever I hear something like that on the radio I can't help but wonder who the people involved are. I'm so glad your family is mostly all right and hope whatever is wrong with your husband is easily fixed.

I sure hope your DH is OK. Thanks for sharing the article. I rolled my VW years ago 4 times but unfortunetly I came out of it with a broken neck that we didn't know about until the next day so yes, I would definetly get your husband checked out.
