my coke rewards...Expiring?

Does anyone know if My Coke Rewards will be expiring at the end of this year or will they be extending it to next year?? I don't see anywhere about that. I appreciate if someone can verified this. Thanks!!!

Definitely extending into next year. I just entered a bunch of points yesterday and had no problems, the usual 90 days until your points expire mention came up and that puts me into March of 2012.

I got an email from them last week telling me my points were going to expire. I thought it was just mine. I only have 250ishpoints, not a lot of things to get.

I just checked my emails. This was sent Nov. 29. Here's what it said.....
Your rewards points will expire in 30 days. To make sure you don't miss out, we're sending you this email to remind you that rewards points expire if your account has been inactive for 90 days.*

However, saving your points and finding exciting new ways to reward yourself is easy.

We're adding new rewards all the time from computer games to instant wins, and you only need spend a few points or enter one new code to keep your rewards active. So what are you waiting for?



Act before 12/29/2011 and stop your points from expiring.

It sounds like I can stop the points from expiring if I just visit the site and maybe enter a contest.

So from what i understanding reading above-- after 12/29/11, they no longer accepts points?? would that be currents points only? But you can still redeem those points after 12/29/11??? Do they accept NEW points after 12/29/11??

I dont' know about you..but it seems very vague to me!!

The pp seems to not have added points in almost 90 days. If you do not add points during a 90 day period, you lose them. For the pp, the day those points would go away due to not adding any would be 12/29. If you have been adding points all along there is no need to worry about losing them.

I get that e-mail all the time. I tend to add points sporadically at best,
It's just a reminder to do something so they know your account is still active, even if it's just logging in to check your balance. It has nothing to do with the program as a whole ending.

Just logging in won't keep your points active. You need to add points or spend points. I think a free sweepstakes entry will also extend the expiration, but I'm not sure.

My brother loses his points all the time. I haven't lost any points yet, and I have over 5k points.

Mycokerewards will expire your points after 90 days if you do not add any more points.

Example:

You log in and enter 200 points January 1. If you do not add any more points before March 1, you will lose your 200 points.

They want you to remain active on their site and add points frequently.

My thought is - if they were going to be discontinuing it, why would they still have points on the new bottles hitting the stores? The bottles with the white tops (the polar bear ones) - the codes inside the white caps ARE coke rewards points.

Has anyone else noticed they have not offered tickets to Universal Orlando this year? Only in the sweepstakes and instant win. Kind of a bummer as I was hoping to use my points for an additional ticket.
