I think I saw Miss Info's dad at the Lens Crafters in San Juan (PR) this morning. I was waiting for my glasses when I heard "hiss hiss" behind me. I had to bite my tongue not to laugh out loud! Turned around casually, and found myself face to face with an older gent. Hiss hiss hiss. EG, ask her if her dad winters in the Caribbean

My trip was okay. I was hoping for better, but it didn't work out.


So boss is back today after maternity leave. This is clearly a signal to Miss Info that it's an in office holiday and there is no need to sit down, shut up and do any work. She's planned a pizza lunch for tomorrow, she went to go find out why the coffee machine has overflowed, she's chattered with the payroll person (her second bff) about retiring and heading to Vegas. (Oh please, please go!) Gone out for a smoke once or twice.(Or three or four) When I asked her when she was going to get me the paperwork I need for year end(and requested last Friday a.m.) I got a dirty look and was told "soon". She has now wandered off again, I'm sure she'll return just in time for her to eat lunch.

Sorry it's been a while. Year end and auditors have made it extremely busy.

Today is primary day here in Illinois. Now let me tell you that Miss Info is QUITE adamant about politics. She will fight tooth and nail about it. So it really isn't any surprise that she is asking everyone that crosses her path if they voted. So when it came my turn I told her I was going at lunch and asked if she had voted yet. She tells me...SHE'S NOT A REGISTERED VOTER. So she's bugging everyone else and whines about our government, but yet doesn't vote. Ahhh it's nice to be back to normal.

Whines about the government and all, I can understand. Freedom of speech and all that jazz. But it cracks me up that she's asking people if they voted when she's not registered herself.
