Hi everyone! I am SO sorry for the delay, this is getting ridiculous, as I just realized that I am STILL on Day 2 of our trip
I ended up having to load my pics onto my thumb drive and put them onto my photosite at school, for some reason it's not liking my memory card. Also, I finally finished all my photopass families and sent them all out this morning, so I DO have all my photopass pics, I'll probably end up putting some up with each day instead of waiting until the very end to do so.
But without any further delay, here we go!!
So, when I last left off, we had just gotten off of Kali, pretty soaked, but not too bad, and now ready for some lunch!
Where did we stop?
I hadn't eaten here since 2002 with my mom, so I was excited to get back into it again. Granted, I can't have cheese, so I just pulled it off and Dbf gave me a few extra of his pepperoni's for some extra topping! I remember them having a very delicious chocolate cake here, but we didn't get it this time!
Instead, sharing as usual, we split a pepperoni pizza, chips (came with the meal), and a hot italian sandwich. The total was around $15, I don't have my money sheet with me today at work.
I had remembered liking their pizza, but never got the italian before and it was pretty darn good! It had ceasar salad on it instead of just plain lettuce so it gave it some extra flavor. Next time we go, I may get one of these by myself!
We decided to sit outside, 1) because it was SO nice out today and 2) I wanted to air myself out a little
So, here's Dbf and I enjoying the atmosphere
Dbf had also brought some cookies or something, may have been mini oreos so we enjoyed them instead to save a little dough
We decided it was getting late, I think about 3:15, the park closed at 5pm today and of course we wanted to do the Lion King show again (and only appropriate with our tshirt on today). We normally hit the last showing, but was able to sneak into the 2nd to last showing so that we would have time in Camp Minnie Mickey this time. So we snapped this one before heading to Camp Minnie Mickey.
And a few of the Lion King show, I always love the finale scene at the end!
The 1st year we ever saw this show was within a month of the Animal Kingdom opening. The tumble monkeys hadn't received their costumes yet so all they had on were red tights. It was quite amusing, as they were "acting" like monkeys but didn't quite fit the part!
Little did I know, the characters were all out as soon as we got out of the Lion King. Mickey, Minnie and Goofy all dressed up in the snow-attire. We lucked out on this one and were able to get pics with all 3, plus Lilo, Stitch, and 2 others within about 35 minutes!! I suppose everyone else was waiting for the last Lion King show.
Last year I only took pic of 1 of the Christmas trees, this year I decided to try and get a bunch more.
Finding Nemo
A little buddy as we stood in line for Minnie
We didn't get "pics" with Minnie, but we did get Photopass photos for her, even though we got regular pics in addition to Photopass ones for everyone else. Not sure why..
Minnie's tree
Lilo's
And coming up to see Mickey!
The photopass pics with him are much better, but this one's still good
And Goofy Santa, loved him!
Goofy actually tried to steal me, and instead decided to kiss my hand for about 30 good seconds. Here's my reaction toward the end of it, boy was my face RED!
Next we saw Kenai (not sure on the spelling) from Brother Bear. He was too cute and I love this shot!
