Anywhere resort you own points for is considered a home resort. You get the 11 month advantage with those points at that resort. We have three home resorts.

My DW and I could purchase 100pts @ VWL and 100pts @BWV and therefore have the 11 month early booking opportunity at both resorts with the option to use all 200pts at either resort or split the points however we wish...

Yes, owning at multiple resorts is allowed. Basically, you would be able to use the points owned at each resort 11 months ahead at that resort only. Points from any of the other accounts could be used at 7 months for a reservation at any resort.

If you own 100 points at VWL and another 100 at BWV - you could use those 100 points (or up to 300 points thru banking/borrowing) for a reservation at BWV 11 months in advance. The VWL points could only be used at that resort until 7 months. Once within 7 months, points may be used at any resort, but at 11 months only the points owned at the specific resort may be used.

Yes except you can only use 100 pts at VWL 11 months out and 100 pts at BWV 11 months out. You could bank/borrow to get more home resort points. What you can't do and I think you're asking, is use all 200 pts at each resort 11 months out.

Am I correct?

I think you would have to make this type of purchase via resellers since Disney will require at least one 150 point contract.

I think you would have to make this type of purchase via resellers since Disney will require at least one 150 point contract.

Disney won't sell a starting contract for less than 150 but if one buys 100 resale, they will let you add on any number you want even if you don't end up with 150 total points when you're done.
