MSEP Fastpass?

According to the DIS update from 4/26: "FastPass will be tested for the Main Street Electrical Parade and the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade from April 29-May 3, 2013. The viewing location will be in Town Square. The tickets will be given to guests at random."

My kids loooove MSEP and I'm crossing my fingers for parade fastpasses during our October trip. Has anyone gotten one of these Fastpasses? If so, how did they work and how was the view?

I'm just really curious.

The view of the parade is fine in Town Square.
It is not, however a very good spot to see the Castle Show (Celebrate the Magic) or Wishes.
(They have also, in the past, tested a parade FP site in the Castle Hub.)

I put the chances of the parade FP's being in operation this October as under 50%.
(But, stay tuned.)

Does anyone know if the electrical parade fastpass is available in September? Been checking, but not sure if I am in the right spot or if I missed my chance.
