Mrs. Banks goes all Mr Creasote at V&A Chef's Table

yep - this is a link to my blog - I've done a write up of my solo Chef's Table dinner from last December. and I thought DISers may enjoy a few food piccies.

just for context, I am going to a convention in Orlando next June and am cooking up events for other attendees coming along via this blog.

Chef's Table was great - and everyone was soooo wonderful - Chef Scott Hunnel visited me numerous times through the meal, and plates were delivered by a range of people including sous chef Aimee Rivera, and Maitre d' Israel Perez. Other staff came out to chat occasionally.

I hope I can get a table again - and I hope i can get a decent crowd to join me!

If Chef's table accommodates 10, and you don't have 10 in your party, are you seated with strangers or do you have it all to yourself? Thinking about V&A for our anniversary next year and considering Chef's Table.

You'll have the table all to yourself. Chef's Party is one party a night, no matter how many members are in that party (as long as it's less then ten, anyway).

Be sure to book it early... with only one seating a night, it goes quick.

Thanks Mikka - YEP - I sat there all night long - by myself!

I am rather hoping that when i go again that others shall join me, but a couple of people are saying it is too much food.
