I've never booked a package before.

Do I have put the deposit down right away, or do I get a few days to discuss it with my DH, like I do when I book room-only reservations?

ya, but that just means people go in, make a new reservation, and then call back later and cancel the old one. that's not a big deal.

This is true. I guess no one has paid in full yet...meaning their pay in full by date, as come up yet. He did say that he will try to do modifications though, see if the system allows it. Boy I hope I get that guy back when I call here in 45 minutes.

You wont get dining free and you cant do two differant resorts but they would have to be on two differant reservations

Wait, so it has to be a new reservation? I've already booked and completely paid for my reservation for Jan. 20-27. Does that mean I have to book a new reservation and cancel the one I have? So I'd have to wait two weeks for them to credit back the original money I paid and then pay off the new reservation? Oh for crying out loud I don't think this is worth the hassle.

Hopefully I can keep my room-reservations until tonight & still book the package. It's only 1:15 here and DH is at work and really too busy to be bothering with making these decisions on a moment's notice.

Whether it's 1 week or 2, that gives me the breathing room I need to make my decision!

And I was supposed to go grocery shopping and now I am glued to the computer cause I am curious what this "HUGE" deal is going to be. I have always wanted to stay 7 days at Disney but 3 nights have always been our max. (We live close enough that it makes for a good trip). It is just to much money for us.

But, paying for one more night then usual to get the next 3 free we might be able to swing.

Hope the rooms available for whatever the promotion is doesn't get booked up in a flash like any other good offer seems to do.

It looks as though my savings would be about 250 and I'd add 2 days. We'll see if I can get it though. If it has to be a new booking that may be a problem...I have ADRs already made and such...I don't know if it will affect that

OH boy, not to be a downer, but the CM I just got off the phone with now READ the terms on this one section to me and it said it must be a NEW reservation!!!!

I almost made a new reservation with a CM but she said 'I would really wait until AFTER 5pm' maybe that is why?

I guess you could make a new reservation but the resort you want may be unavailable.

If it has to be "new" sure I could just do a new one but when I cancel the old one I loose all my ADR's. And those of us caught in the stupid "gap" between 180 day and 90 day ADR limbo worked HARD to secure those stupid ADR's! I'm not sure I'm willing to give those up, pretty sure I'd loose CRT and Le Cellier.

I'm getting frustrated that I've spent all day crunching these numbers and in the end it may very well have been a complete waste of time.

Why would you lose your ADR's? Isn't that a separate booking division?

I'm starting to get nervous....will I get through, will my dates be blocked, will my family be silent so I can think, will I be able to sleep so I can go to work at 11pm????

I would love to take advantage of this offer as we are going for 4 nights in January, from the 23rd-27th. To add 3 more nights for free would be great, but we already have our airfare booked. It would cost us 100 per person to change our flight home for a total of $500 dollars, so it really doesn't work for us

If the new reservation thing is true, then I'm really irritated. This is the only trip we'll be able to take for a LONG time (years probably) and I have the exact room I want. I don't want to risk losing the room and having to settle for something else. The problem is I would stand to "save" $1,950 by getting this deal. If I have to cancel the reservation I have to get it I guess I'll just say forget the room I have and book at a value or moderate instead of the Contemporary.
