Mousesavers reporting a huge deal for first half of 2009 coming tomorrow!

Is there anyone out there that thinks this deal could be completely different than what we are all thinking it will be?????? Or do most people think it will be something close to what we are hearing?

The CM I talked to said it was the 7 for 4 deal on room and tickets. No dining.

He said they would calculate the free nights by averaging the entire stay and subtracting 3 nights at the average cost/night.

I'm not sure about the tickets. I'm hoping to get APs for DH and I. Here are the possible breakdowns I've come up with so far:

AP - $499.49
3-Day Park Hopper - $279.03

AP - 3-Day PH = $220.46 (a girl can hope!)​

7-Day PH - $296.07
(If they are giving people the 7-Day passes but charging them for 3-Day passes, then the actual savings for us is only $17.04. Not impressive.)
Average cost/day of the 7-Day PH - $42.30
3 Days at this average - $126.89

So perhaps I can get the AP with $126.89 off...

Total: $372.60​

When I talked with the CM about getting AP's with this code, he said something about getting $75 off per day for 3 days. That would mean that each AP would cost $274.49. I think I must have misunderstood him, but that would be great!!

I just received this from an inside source on 11/6/08 at 10:50 am Hawaii time = 3:50 pm Eastern time

I just got the details (they were just released). I don't think it will apply to many people - but for people who can stay at WDW longer it could be great.


If you book 4 nights between January 4th & March 29th you get 3 nights free. This applies to both rooms and tickets. You need to book between today and December 20th. I'll post the details on the Disboards and on Facebook.

is there any chance this starts on Jan 1? We're planning on leaving on the 4th, but I've decided that if it starts on the 1st' he'll leave on the 4th or 5th his choice, and I'll stay until the 7th. I'll fly home that evening.

3 adults, 1 child (age 4)

7 nights, Saratoga Springs, 2-bedroom villa
8 day Park Hopper
7 nights regular dining plan
$8302

Same as above with 1-bedroom villa = $6137

Same as above, but deluxe dining plan 1BR = $6879

Same as above, but deluxe dining plan 2BR = $9044

If the dining plan is NOT included in the 3 free nights, but the "freebie" is the room + extra days on the park tickets, then our rates change to with the regular dining plan:

1BR = $4387 (save $1750)
2 BR = $5624 (save $2678)

1 BR with deluxe dining = $5098 (save $1781)
2 BR with deluxe dining = $6335 (save $2709)

If the dining plan IS included in the "freebie" nights, then we're looking at with the regular dining plan:

1 BR = $3963 (save $2174)
2 BR = $4930 (save $3372)

With the deluxe dining plan:

1 BR = $4387 (save $2492)
2 BR = $5624 (save $3420)

I highly doubt it but wonder if you having the dining plan if you're paying for 4 nights if they would give you 3 nights of dining?

I'm no expert, but I'm almost positive it wouldn't include Jan 1st. The week between Christmas and NYE is the busiest of all weeks, then you add people coming in and/or sticking around for marathon weekend, etc and they probably don't need help filling rooms those first few days!

UGH - I can't keep up. On top of not getting anything else done. Oh, well. I've tried going into the Disney reservation system and I'm finding that resorts are hard to come by for value dates in January and February. That said, I might do a reservation once the announcement is made. I'll book it and then worry about air transporation. Do you know what the cancellation policy is for the package in case I can't get air transporation? Also, DH had a great idea. He said instead of us saving money through this promotion that we should upgrade from a moderate to a deluxe. I like how he thinks!
