Does anyone remember exactly what the annual Pass discounts were last year for the second week of May?

I wonder if this new offer would beat an AP discount? I don't need park tickets, but figure in order to get the three free nights at a resort we'd probably not only have to pay rack rate for the rooms, but also buy at least a one day MYW ticket. Again I wonder which would be the better deal: this new offer or an AP room discount?:confused3

Why not use them towards the cost of a new AP if you have so many one night tickets it may come out cheaper using those towards a new AP then renewing

My AP is valid from our April trip this year, we are going in March next year. So I don't need to renew or purchase another AP.

Yes but after that you would need to renew if you intend on keeping the AP if not then you will have a bunch of one day tickets you can put towards your next WDW ticket purchase or just use

I already booked a trip with AP special rate (room only) for Feb.5-10 If this new deal (c'mon 5 o'clock!!!!) is better than that..I guess I have to cancel and re book..no stacking discounts..I'm lugging my laptop around checking just in case they offer it before 5;)

While we are all just patiently ;) waiting, maybe someone can answer a question or two for me.

I have read some posts that say ppl have been able to book up to 3 rooms using a code. Is that usually the case with the codes or does it vary with each code?

If I book 3 rooms for the same dates and same resort using a package code, will I have to pay a $200.00 deposit for each of the 3 rooms or just $200.00 total?

TIA....Good Luck everyone...Hope it's a deal that we can all use.:thumbsup2

BTW: I am leaving tomorrow for our 1st family trip. I have a million things to do and I can't seem to start anything because I am to busy trying to figure out this code for a future trip. :scared1: :surfweb:

Can anyone help me out here? At least the 2nd question???

With a general public code that is open for anyone you can book as many rooms as you like. It is the pin offers that you can book only up to 3 rooms per pin

I am 99% sure each room is considered a separate reservation so you need a $200 deposit per room held.

BTW, if they are room only reservations, you don't need a $200 deposit, just whatever a night's stay is. So at the All Stars that's a $100ish deposit, but at the Poly that's a $300 deposit.

Will they let you book on your own if they see that you have a TA reservation already in the system?

Just change your TA (disney?) instead of booking another. If you used a different TA- I can't see how disney would see it?

Mmmm...sounds like a nice night. I was going to work out after I found out my answers, but that sounds soooo much better. Maybe I can go early tomorrow morning since I might not have to be code watching! Movie, wine, meatloaf and a Disney code!

I just had some fun working my numbers. :) Of course this is all speculation at this point since we don't know what the real deal will be. I didn't include the resort tax in my numbers either just to save time.

My family has A/P's so we don't really need the tickets at this time. Hopefully Disney will let us use any tickets that we have to buy to get the package at a later date (probably 2011 or 2012 for my family.)

If we can buy just a 1 day park ticket to get the room discount, I'll save 482.50 off our already booked room only ressie. We can use the tickets once our AP's expire.

If we have to buy 4 day tickets - it would actually cost us 70.50 more than our current room only ressie but we would have the 7 day tickets to use once our AP's expire.

So I'm thinking either way this could be a good deal for us as long as we can use any tickets we'd have to buy at a later date.

I'm not including any dining plan numbers since we don't have dining booked.

My TA is AAA. But when I called them before to ask about them calling Disney if there is a new discount, they said, 'well we close at 6pm!'

So that is why I was wondering if I could book on my own through Disney, in case AAA does not have time to call for me. (I am assuming they must call Disney to do this. This is only the second time I have used a TA, I usually do it myself)

I'm back with questions...

when they say buy 4 nights get 3 free, what rate would they be going by since weekend nights are more expensive than week nights? I'm trying to run my numbers (again) and CSR is $170 wknight and $180 wkend nights during our stay.

what if you already have a package booked, will they just apply the discount and re-work your ressie? Can they turn a room only into a package with this deal?

We were there the 4th week in May this year using an AP discount and if this offer would be a 7-for-4 deal, it'd almost certainly be better.

I just quickly calculated our upcoming end of January trip and 7-for-4 would be significantly better than the AP rate we currently have booked. So much better that we could upgrade our room and it'd cost only about $130 more for the 7 nights, instead of the $460 more for the 7 nights it'd cost using the AP rate.

How can I tear myself away from the computer? :surfweb:

I did that but if you post that you did you'll have some on here who'll berate you for double booking like they did me. So if you do it, don't say anything about it.

Is there anyone out there that thinks this deal could be completely different than what we are all thinking it will be?????? Or do most people think it will be something close to what we are hearing?

I think it will be very close to what we are hearing. But, I still would LOVE for dining to be included in the B4G3F deal! :::fingers crossed:::

When you are paying rack rate for two rooms this is a terrific deal. It would save me over $2,500.00
Sounds to good to be true!

While I got no details, the CM I spoke to told me what I had heard was true, but juicier! LOL!

Thanks for the warning. I'd only do it if AAA was unable to help, and then I'd cancel the other one first thing in the morning. I don't think I would use a TA again because I hate calling and hearing 'oh she is off today!'
