"Shrub" or "schrub" is a term for your president. I call him the worst sack of crap to ever foul up the Oval Office. YMMV.
He's your president too.

Not mine - we only have a Prime Minister (who's leaving) and a very gracious Queen

Really?
Because when he got re-elected he insisted that those 50.7% of voters mandated him to continue in his ways, and HE IGNORED the 49.3% of us that voted against him.
Well, when my Democrat Rep and Senator ignores me, what am I to do...

Particularly the idiot that represents my district.Depends on what you mean by "ignore". If they just don't follow instructions, then you'll just have to deal with it. If you mean that they won't even respond to you...I dunno what to tell you. I can't get mine to shut up.Particularly the idiot that represents my district.
Last summer you posted something on one of the many political threads that were flying around at the time and it was about this very issue. You said something to the affect (forgive me if I butcher it) that Republicans in power at the time forget that the people they kicked in the head on the way up, are the same ones they're going to meet on the way down. In retrospect, no truer words were spoken.
I can't shed too many tears for what has happened, even though I don't agree with it. What has happened is a good lesson for all who enter into politics and are in the majority at the current or present time. Hell, it's good lesson for all us that can be used in real life.
So then what happens. Eventually the Republicans get back in power, then they start getting even, then the Dems and then it goes on and on. In the meanwhile nothing gets done! It is just a cycle of revenge.
Whoa - first Alicenwonderland thinks he's in her bedroom, now he's under peachgirls bed! He gets around more than Clinton did!No, he's the President of my country. Last time I checked I didn't have a president, but I'll go look under the bed again just to be sure.
No matter, he's not either one for much longer...Thank God!!!
And, yeah, I felt like contributing too!!

As if the Dems would have felt any differently IF they had won in 2000 or 2004.
Really?? All of you?? Still not "over it" I guess.Last summer you posted something on one of the many political threads that were flying around at the time and it was about this very issue. One vote over 50% is a mandate. As if the Dems would have felt any differently IF they had won in 2000 or 2004.
