ER: (phone in hand, reading a text from BBN) Awwwwwww, thanks Backstage Gal.

(after waiter brings tea, finger sandwiches and fancy cookies)

Marita: So, VJ, do you like working for the Mouse?

TB: (sending a text to BBN) Huh?

Marita: You know, the Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Disney World. Do you like being a castmember?

WP: (texting on her phone to BBN as she talks, obviously not paying attention) Castmember? Yes, I like movies.

Marita: Oh. Do you like going to school?

SW: (texting to BBN again) I teach kids.

Marita: I know you do. Do you like going to school?

YT: (reading a text from BBN) I like Babynurse. We are HotTCollege Chicks.

Marita: I know. I like her too.

VT: (sending a text to BBN) My sister is Ariel.

Marita: I know.

RE: (reading a text from BBN) I'm a HotTCollege Chick. So is BabyNurse.

Marita: I know.

(long silence, except for the sound of WS tapping out a text to BBN)

NB: (reading a text from BBN) My sister is Ariel, did you know that?

Marita: Yes, you just told me. I hate DVC.

YW: (sending a text to BBN) My sister is Ariel.

Marita: I hate DVC.

EX: (reading a text from BBN) My sister is Ariel.

TL: HEEEEEEY. Marita, BBN just invited me to Sunnybrook Farm for a slumber party. Isn't that the best?

Marita: Yeah, the very best. I hate DVC, I think I hate BBN too.

Babynurse invited me to join y'all. I'm usually quite shy and unassuming (or not) - some of y'all may know me from other DIS threads in the past. I've not posted much in the past few months (for various and sundry reasons that are much too long, boring and convoluted to get into here & now) but I do tend to drop by and lurk every few days when I have a moment. I will probably not ever be a 10-posts-a-day guy, but more like 10-posts-a-week (or month). I'll just drop in with a random thought every now and then. Sooooo, since I was actually invited, I thought I'd take a few moments to say 'hi' to you.

1. I can claim to have met E & PJ in real life in the not-so-distant past. I (well, my family & I) even had a small supporting role in E & PJ's trip report. I'm honestly DISappointed that they passed us up for the Golden Globes best supporting role category, but what can ya do?!?

3. I can totally rock Wii "Boogie" - my favorite karaoke song is "Fergielicious". It's not about skill, really, but exuberance...

Re the Diaper Vest: It is a little James Bond isn't it?
I can't wait for the day when I am sitting at the park (in heels and pearls with my hair perfectly coiffed with an outfit that coordinates with my new stroller) and the cute dad on the park bench across from me notices that Junior needs a change and whips out a diaper and wipes from the hidden pockets.

For the record (and clarification), the last time I wore stirrup pants was as part of my Little League baseball uniform. We were matchy-matchy though. Never been in a band before (somebody once called me 'tone-deaf' and unfortunately that little label has stuck with me throughout my life - sniff).

"Fernando" is such a second-rate ABBA song. Everybody knows the best is "Knowing Me, Knowing You".
