Just want to say, Morning Mooing Meeps!
thsquaremoo-1.jpg
Lil Blue!!! It's wonderful to see you again!!! I truly did miss all the cow pictures and cartoons!

And little TJ is growing like a weed! SO adorable :dance3:

I think my hubby is addicted to duct tape :rotfl2:

Hi all. I have been dealing with bills/paperwork/responsible grown up junk. Bah!

PS I have duct tape.
LOL, you're channeling Sid again, Twink! Bah on being a grown up is right :lmao:

okay sounds good but i just can't steal it, i will dis-borrow it:laughing:
Goog one, Spongie! You definitely should put the SpongeCow in your siggie.

My favorite part of that book was the reccomendation for a daily dose of ice cream. :cutie:

I was just thinking of you MommyP! My mom bought my twins the originial Dick and Jane books. And started to teach them how to read. We were just sitting on the couch as they took turns reading each "chapter" to me...

oh it is sooooo sweet.

And soooooo mind numbing.

Look. Look. Look and see.
See Baby run.
See Baby run and jump.
Oh, oh, oh.
Naughty naughty Baby.
See Mommy spank and yell.
Funny Mommy.

:faint:
Oh, that brings back some memories. I was pretty glad my DD learned on different books. I swear we had ALL of the Berenstain Bears books at one point.

YAY, budget review is behind me for this year! It went well, phew.
Now I can return to the land of the living...

Today is also my 35 year anniversary with Disney. WOW, how time flies!
I did not expect to be here for the opening of Space Mountain. We were planning on moving to Colorado, where hubby was going to study to become a Veterianarian. Well, that didn't happen.
When we were done with the review at 4:30, someone rolled in this beautiful cake, and a bunch of people showed up, and I was given my nametag pin. Very nice. I am not going to wear the pin, it will go to a safe place, I can sell it on Ebay to help finance my golden years, LOL.

I might post a picture of the cake later.
HAPPY 35TH ANNIVERSARY, MARITA!!!!!!

What an accomplishment!

We're gonna scoooooooooorrrreee tonight!
We're gonna rock, we're gonna roll. we're gonna bob? we're gonna bowl!
Woo!
Hi WT!

Marita - Woo hooty on 35 years. I love being able to say I have a friend who's worked for Disney for 35 years. I tell a lot of people that. I explain you're imaginary, but I'll get to meet you soon.
thanks for reading the pre trippie! Love the cake

Nab - eek on the little boy with the ball to the head. I can see not being overprotective, but you'd think the dad would at least act a little concerned.

Thanks for the congrats. I guess going 35 years without getting fired or layed off is something, LOL.

Moo and Cel, scroll back up to see a pic of my cake.

Slow down
you move too fast
you've got to make the morning last.
Just kickin' down the cobble stones
looking for fun and feeling groovy
Ba da da da da da da
Feelin' groovy

Hello lamppost
Whatcha knowin'?
I've come to watch your flowers growin'.
Ain'tcha got no rhymes (or haiku) for me?
Do do do do
Feelin' groovy
Ba da da da da da da
Feelin' groovy

I got no deeds to do,
no promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep
Let the morningtime drop all its petals on me
Life I love you
All is groovy.
Ba da da da da da da (repeat over and over again until fade out)...

Hello everybody. Sorry I have been gone soooo long. Work and kids' sporting events keep me very busy these day. Where has the summer gone? Anyway? (as Mel would say it) This song just seems weirdly appropriate.

Wheat Thins
Hey, WT - Nice to see you Karaoke-ing in our neighborhood again :rotfl2: Yes . . . wierdly appropos.

That oughta bring Cel out for some more serenading!!!

Epileptic bling seizure and all (snort)!

Marita - COOL CAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cel, I haven't read your pre-TR yet, but certainly will! I think someone else mentioned that.

your baby is so adorable.......I love him in Blue too......We have been busy the last few weeks........getting rid of stuff on the third floor apartment where we stored all MIL's stuff .....and now we can get rid of it without feeling guilty......Why do I still feel guilty.......and we are working on the second floor......my moms apartment....she has more stuff then I could ever think......I mean stuff....but most of the things she wants someone to have is already tied with a note to it.....I got my jewelry that she had picked out for me.....and stuff that needs to go to the other siblings....One was bought by my brother and sil in Cairo ....it is made from ivory and camels something....i will read the note again next time I go upstairs.....well she wants it returned to them and to make sure I insure it too......laughed at that......they also bought her an emerald cross from italy.......they traveled alot ...
My mom has not been sweet lately.....but I know that the dementia came on fast ...... we are having her birthday party on thursday at six pm......she will be 93.....unreal when I thnk of it...
Hope you are all well......and that cake is awesome and congratulations......

Hey, Pumba - sorry you're going through a rough patch, but it sounds like keeping busy has resulted in a lot of progress. You've been missed around here! :grouphug:

/
Pumba, :grouphug: sounds like you are having a rough year. We did miss you. Hope you get through the cleaning out stuff soon and get that behind you.

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.
Remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true love of mine.
Tell her to make me a cambric shirt,
(a hill in the deep forest green)
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme;
(tracing of sparrow on snow-crested brown)
Without no seams nor needle work,
(blankets and bedclothes the child of the mountain)
Then she'll be a true love of mine.
(sleeps unaware of the clarion call)

Tell her to find me an acre of land,
(on the side of a hill a sprinkling of leaves)
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme;
(washes the grave with silvery tears)
Between the salt water and the sea strand,
(a soldier cleans and polishes a gun)
Then she'll be a true love of mine.
(sleeps unaware of the clarion call)

Tell her to reap it with a sickle of leather,
(war bellows blazing in scarlet battalions)
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme;
(general order their soldiers to kill)
And gather it all in a bunch of heather,
(and to fight for a cause they've long ago forgotten)
Then she'll be a true love of mine.

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.
Remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true love of mine.

Daily ice cream? I haven't gotten there yet. I won't be following that one! I'll be big as a house! :rotfl:

We don't have any Dick and Jane books. Any book with a learning to read 5-6 year old is mind numbing. :rolleyes1

...

* are you guys bringing me anything back? They're bringing sexy back, Lil G

...oh, boy-yes girl!..i can't wait to see mommy p. handi work? :thumbsup2
by the way, are the boys behavin this summer? good! ..psst, fed 'um
lots of ice cream..that's the best way for them to calm down...

Summer is the hardest time of year. Four boys inside 24/7 with enough energy to launch a missle is not a good combination. It's too hot outside so they are stuck inside ALL the time. :3dglasses

I don't let them have sugar often it's way too much on me.

Congrats on 35 years Marita! How cool!! :cool1:

Goog Morning.

I tried to post a shout out yesterday, but it took forever to load the screen, and I finally just gave up.

The kids want to go to the summer free movie this morning, so I guess that's where I'll be going, and then to lunch, and the library.

MARITA: that is too cool, that you have worked there 35 years. WAY TO GO!:yay: :woohoo: :dance3:

MommyP:
stay cool!:cool2:

Lil G: Are YOU bringing sexy back? :upsidedow

Underdog:
3:02 a.m. When do you sleep? Sounds like the hours I keep, when I get called into work at all hours.

 to the rest of the gang!

Morning All,

I tried to get on last night after I saw Marita's cake but it wouldn't let me. I should came to chat.

Marita-- was Minnie ediable on your cake?

Mommy P -- how was the movie last night? Is it worth renting?

Babynurse--what movie do you get to see?

I am off to a bad start this morning. I didn't want to get out of bed, which made me have a late start. Then I was going to load the dishwasher and while putting away the glass measuring cup I dropped it on the counter. It exploded. I think I got it all up but had to leave for swimming before I could put everything back on the counter and double check.

It is one of those days I want to crawl back in bed.

So now I am at the library and swimming lessons.

 to Nab.
Sorry you're off to a rough start.

I've been like that all week! I haven't worked at all.
I've just been dising.
:(
I need to get busy, but I just don't have the will! :confused3
But I'm liking writing my trip report.
whee.

Also me and Tammy are bickering, so that sucks.

Nab - It was good, but kinda weird like her last movie. I think it was called something like The Lake House.

mornin all
Could anyone get on chat last night? I tried and it wouldnt load. Then I couldn't easily change pages on the Dis, but other sites worked just fine.
Twinkie- that song still tags at my heart. My first love was named Scarborough and well, first loves and all.
Marita- wow, 35 years.   for you. I worked for Crackerbarrel for 22 and went just a little crazy: , oh ok a lot.
Minnie; I agree, Twink rocks the lyrics.
Now I'm off in search of a vinyl top for my Cruiser. The lid has some damage, and I'm hoping it will look goog again with a toupee.

Donald- you worked at Cracker Barrell for 22 years?!? I thought you were like 22 years old! I don't know why.... it isn't like you gush about Justin Timberlake like our dear Celery (ha ha Celery!) who sounds young but is the closest to my age. The longest I have ever held down the same job is three years. But the company had a merger and changed names so it looks like I moved.

I have never met anyone named Scarborough. I have personally known a Miracle, Haven, Meadow and Colt.

Good luck with the Cruiser. Do you have the bullet hole stickers for it? I asked Moo the same thing. She doesn't either. Sigh. That is the car DH wanted. We bought a minivan instead.
