I was just thinking of you MommyP! My mom bought my twins the originial Dick and Jane books. And started to teach them how to read. We were just sitting on the couch as they took turns reading each "chapter" to me...

HAPPY 35TH ANNIVERSARY, MARITA!!!!!!YAY, budget review is behind me for this year! It went well, phew.
Now I can return to the land of the living...
Today is also my 35 year anniversary with Disney. WOW, how time flies!
I did not expect to be here for the opening of Space Mountain. We were planning on moving to Colorado, where hubby was going to study to become a Veterianarian. Well, that didn't happen.
When we were done with the review at 4:30, someone rolled in this beautiful cake, and a bunch of people showed up, and I was given my nametag pin. Very nice. I am not going to wear the pin, it will go to a safe place, I can sell it on Ebay to help finance my golden years, LOL.
I might post a picture of the cake later.
Hey, WT - Nice to see you Karaoke-ing in our neighborhood againSlow down
you move too fast
you've got to make the morning last.
Just kickin' down the cobble stones
looking for fun and feeling groovy
Ba da da da da da da
Feelin' groovy
Hello lamppost
Whatcha knowin'?
I've come to watch your flowers growin'.
Ain'tcha got no rhymes (or haiku) for me?
Do do do do
Feelin' groovy
Ba da da da da da da
Feelin' groovy
I got no deeds to do,
no promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep
Let the morningtime drop all its petals on me
Life I love you
All is groovy.
Ba da da da da da da (repeat over and over again until fade out)...
Hello everybody. Sorry I have been gone soooo long. Work and kids' sporting events keep me very busy these day. Where has the summer gone? Anyway? (as Mel would say it) This song just seems weirdly appropriate.
Wheat Thins
Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.
Remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true love of mine.
Tell her to make me a cambric shirt,
(a hill in the deep forest green)
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme;
(tracing of sparrow on snow-crested brown)
Without no seams nor needle work,
(blankets and bedclothes the child of the mountain)
Then she'll be a true love of mine.
(sleeps unaware of the clarion call)
Tell her to find me an acre of land,
(on the side of a hill a sprinkling of leaves)
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme;
(washes the grave with silvery tears)
Between the salt water and the sea strand,
(a soldier cleans and polishes a gun)
Then she'll be a true love of mine.
(sleeps unaware of the clarion call)
Tell her to reap it with a sickle of leather,
(war bellows blazing in scarlet battalions)
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme;
(general order their soldiers to kill)
And gather it all in a bunch of heather,
(and to fight for a cause they've long ago forgotten)
Then she'll be a true love of mine.
Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.
Remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true love of mine.
HAPPY 35TH ANNIVERSARY, MARITA!!!!!!
What an accomplishment!
