I had an email conversation with a co-worker earlier, who didn't know about this whole thing, and it made me think again of this whole long journey he went on. I thought they would just snatch about anyone off the street they could get (well, maybe not for officer). But anyway. I was just thinking of jotting down all the things he had to do to get to this point. I won't post it tonight, but I might bug you all with it once I have official pictures.

For now I am just excited to see my son soon, and to have him accomplish his goal!

All the students in your son's class look like they sure are glad they all finished Basic. You can't have enough mothers. I need a mother in every state to watch out for my babies. Martia you would make a good mother- in- law.

in the vampire series, there are two main hunks - edward the vampire and jacob the werewolf.
Well, people have fierce loyalties and have named themselves "Team Edward" or "Team Jacob"
(I personally am on Team Edward cuz he's hot and romantic and just perfect. if he was real. )
But anyway, I decided to be funny.
The author just released a new book called the host about a parasitic alien - who is a really awesome character and very admirable.
so I made a shirt that says "Team Wanda" and has my version of what she looks like in her alien form.

Marita - Your son and all of his classmates look very happy. Are they inside one of those big airplanes? We have those big C130's fly over the house all the time. They are VERY LOUD! You're comin' this way pretty soon aren't ya'? Hard to believe it is already time for him to gradjeeate.

Monica - I went jogging/running tonight too. Took my dog with me. It was the first time I have ever done that. She did really well. She didn't make me trip and fall over her, so that was goog.

I should finish the second book of the Twilight series next week (long road triip) and make inroads on book 3. Breaking down is due to arrive next Friday, so I better get a move on!
That reminds me, I better o find a book light ths weekend, eek!I had one, but the house swallowed it!

Book 2 is kind of boring to me so far,,,,,
