Went to dinner yesterday with some friends and one of them won $727.00 in the pull tab tickets.

She won the 500 in the first purchase and the 200 in the third purchase and several little ones in between.

I rubbed up against her for some good luck.

I never buy those things. I don't have any good luck.

GOOOD MORNING?

Woke up late and it's raining. Stayed up til 3ish waiting for Mimi to get home. She and some friends went to Cincinnati yesterday for an all day concert. Turns out she got home around 7:30 then went to her boyfriend's apartment and fell asleep watching a movie. Kids.

Went to the performance for the workshop Emily did on Monday with Laura Bell Bundy who is a hometown girl from Lexington. Thought it would last a half hour and it lasted 2 hours.

Now I'm exhausted for the new job.

Umm.

Nothing else to say this morning.

Except I'm going to a Breaking Dawn party tomorrow night (the vampire books, for all you non meyer fans).
Anyone else going to one?

It'll be me, Lisa, Ben, Lisa's friends from Philly, my friend Ivy (who is 16) and her dad (who I work with).
Her dad is going to be a pain!
My mom can vouch for that - it's Phil.
He's a goofball and has no interest in the books, but since we're going and Ivy wants to go, he's coming too.

Lisa and her 2 friends (who are flying in from Philly) are renting a hotel room Saturday night so they can read the book uninterrupted by kids.
Ha.

what keeps the peepee from going everywhere?

He wears a unbleached chinese cotton prefold(pinned) and over that a cover of some sort to keep the pee pee in. I hate the PUL covers because the ones I have leave red marks on his legs and belly. Wool is breathable and keeps the pee pee in. So does fleece,I don't know how?

Hmmm....maybe the diaper under the diaper cover....lol

I need to get to the grocery store today. I'm trying to stay under budget so I can buy fabric. LOL!

I'm making Beth burp cloths for John. A monkey flannel on one side and a blue chenille on the other side. She's leaving town on Saturday, so I have to hurry!

Well, I feel like I got nowhere with work last night, even though I worked till after 11. Today I am working from home, since I have a dentist appt. at 12:30. Then I am off tomorrow and all next week, YAY!

Today I made my Isaac a fleece soaker and I'm so happy that it actually works!

He is such a cutie!! The kind of baby you just want to pick up and steal kisses from.

I think I should start thinking about packing for our trip. I have to do it on the down low though. Plus it's summer and the kids need their clothes.

Uggh. I hate packing. Have fun with that.

Back me up here, bbn. I am really bad with directions so I'm always afraid if I venture out I'll get lost past the point of no return.

Heya, everyone! Just 45 minutes until I blast outta this place until Monday! Yaaaaaay!

So far, I have managed to finish all my work, pay all my bills online, read and answer my emails, and drink 3 large iced lattes. I can't wait to get home and really get some stuff done! w00t!
