GOOD MORNING!

I'm still tired from the night before last.

Got off work yesterday and had to come straight home to take Emily to a party then drove to the store to get some food and dinner at FIL's apartment. Never took off my work clothes til I went to bed last night.

Today is a big day at work. My first day doing payroll and invoicing! Say a lil prayer for me.

This afternoon when I get off we are headed straight to Bowling Green to take Emily to my cousin's house. She's spending the weekend with his daughter. I'm headed on to Franklin to see my family. My grandmother has been very sick and in the hospital since last I saw her. She declining very rapidly since Granddaddy died.

PJ....Concert in Cincy was the Warped Tour at Riverbend. I don't know the bands but I'm guessing it's kind of an indie music fest. Mimi's boyfriend is in a band and they had VIP backstage passes. A far cry from Kenny Chesney.

Allie....I never did ask you who in your family was up this way?

Celery....Mimi is going to the midnight prom tonight here in town. She'd better be done with that book by the time I get back on Sunday night!

Marita....Cute lil soldier you got there!

Thanks to Moo and all the sympathetic moms who understand about staying up late waiting for the kiddos.

I'm off to get a sweater and do the payroll. I'm skeered.

Well, I made my chicken a la king. I put some toast in the toaster and sat down in the living room. Of course the toast burnt!!
So I put 2 more slices in and turned the heat back up on the chicken to keep it hot
Toast was fine (barely).

So I finished eating dinner and thought, hmmm, what is that noise? Is it raining? Nope!
Yep, I left the a la king on the heat, and it was bubbling away like mad!
I think I salvaged most of it, I will have to see. I scooped the top off into a dish and threw the rest away.

Sorry to laugh, but this is SOOOO like me. I am forever leaving a burner on and not realizing it until much later. I also have a bad habit of leaving things unattended on the stove while I'm busy elsewgere in the house, and coming back to charcoal!

Hey this walk/jogging thing is paying off. I think I can see a slight different in how my clothes are fitting. I am already a big person, so losing 9 pounds doesn't show much yet.

I really need to clean my house too Marita. I keep using my neck as an excuse, but I need to really get down and clean.

I think all the little day care kids are getting sponges today for an activity. And window cleaning rags, since it's all of their fingerprints on there.

morning......egg lady just delivered my eggs ...Megara smiled at her.....one of my former rug rats....she is just 12 in 7th grade in a few weeks and her mom thinks she can take care of herself......but she is one of those kids that needs someone around....she doesnt like to be alone..I have one girl that comes occasionally....she is just twelve too and going into same grade as other rug rat...but this girl has never been alone .......so to each their own....12 year old kids should not be alone all day while their mom is in another town 30 miles away working.........NOPE.....so one mom works two minutes from their home and she comes here to be supervised....and the other girls mom is 30 miles away and she is on her own.....makes no sense.........the rug rat calls me the junior adult supervisor.....love my new title.......

Cel - Okay you have me beat. That's an insane about of water. I like to drink down like 32oz at a time to get it part way over with. I guess you can't do that though.


Well I am officially ticked that scrabulous is gone. I don't like the new scrabble. It's slow and stupid. Last night I played my turn with a 44 point word Za/Zit (I have NO vowels at ALL) and this morning my it wasn't there.



I need to head off to the grocery store. Yuck

Oh and it was my son. His youth group went to Indiana for their Mission Trip. They put on a VBS up there. They always get to do something fun before they come home. It's kind of their reward for a job well done. Well, they got to spend the day at Kentucky Kingdom. He had a blast! I think they were there while you were at the beach.

Got to go get DS up because he is leaving on yet another youth trip today. He'll be gone all weekend. DD is going over to MIL's house for an "all girl cousins" sleepover. So Mr. and Mrs. Allie are going to be enjoying the quiet house tonight. No XBOX Live warzone all weekend!

I ate it BEFORE I left it on the stove. So my daughter is the guinea pig for the overcooed part. I didn't tell her about it, hee hee! So far I haven't heard any screams of disgust, so I guess it's OK.
