Marita - Your son and all of his classmates look very happy. Are they inside one of those big airplanes? We have those big C130's fly over the house all the time. They are VERY LOUD! :scared: You're comin' this way pretty soon aren't ya'? :rolleyes1 Hard to believe it is already time for him to gradjeeate.

Monica - I went jogging/running tonight too. Took my dog with me. It was the first time I have ever done that. She did really well. She didn't make me trip and fall over her, so that was goog.

Cel - Of course we want pics. :flower3:

Hi Allei, I dont think they are in them yet, DS just finished basic officer training. He goes for all the technical stuff next, but in Texas. But he may have BEEN in one, I don't know.
Coming your way on Monday, Allie! Have dinner ready for me about 5pm :)

The last time I took my dog for a walk was in 2000. He saw another dog or something and took off, making me literally fly in the air and land face down on the sidewalk. Luckily nothing serious. I saw stars, literally!
That the last time I ever took him for a walk. (He is a BIG dog). Luckily the kids take/took him out. Well, they are pretty much gone, and the dog is like 14-16 and not all that anxious for a run anywaythese days.

hey allie!
breadman might be working your way soon. we're not sure yet. He's been offered a management position in Huntsville, but they want him to LIVE there?
which makes no sense.
he already drives from Mt Pleasant to Lewisburg - which is 30 miles -
I think Huntsville is just another 30 miles.
:confused3
He told them he'd take it if he didn't have to move.
It'd be the same amount of money, better hours and a company car.
I'm hoping he gets it!

marita - book 2 is not my favorite - it's just something you have to get through to get to 3!

thanks mony!
I was worried that people wouldn't get it, but I sent lisa pics and she thinks they will.
the silver glitter one doesn't show up well.

Cel, I can see the "team wanda in the first pic, but I cant make out anything in the second pic. It maybe my eyesight though

marita - it's hard to see - it's silver glitter and I took it with my cell phone.

In Sukie's obedience class, there are a couple large German Shepherds who try to do that to their female owners. The trainer has taken up a lot of class time working with them. It doesn't bother me, though. I just go sit in my chair until she's done. Sukie is a breeze to train, in comparison.

It's not just you, Marita!

Cool idea, Cel!!! I still haven't broken down and read those books yet.

BH and L - I only watched about 10 minutes of the show tonight since my hubby's back from his trip. Thanks for saying who went home. I was kind of wondering.

Well, Moo I understand why you are not worried about your TINY dogs dragging you around, LOL!

When I lived in Germany, we had a German Shepherd watch dog for the gas station my father owned. He threw old tires up in the air for fun and caught them in his teeth. He went to obedience school too, and bit through the traininers rubber arm guard. But he was the sweetest dog. His name was Rex.
Sadly, he was poisoned by a burgelar

The reason why I asked about the plane is because it looks like that is what they were standing in. ;)

Dinner - 5 PM - CHECK :)

Now had I taken the little dog, I might would have been in jeopardy of falling on my face. :rotfl: The bigger dog did better in dog training than the little one. I guess it helped that we had her since she was a puppy. We got the little dog after she had lived with someone else for two years, and had learned all her bad habits. :rolleyes1

Keep me posted. That would be REALLY close to me. :rolleyes1 Huntsville is a great place to work. He wouldn't have any traffic getting to work. :thumbsup2

Going to bed. I'm tired after all that exercise. :cloud9:

Well, they may be small dogs, but Jasper is pretty strong. And he still isn't properly leash trained like Sukie, thus very easy to trip over. We never bothered to leash train any of our previous dogs and I think she is MUCH easier to handle now that she will heel, sit, down, and stay. I'm going to work with Jasper once Sukie's class is over. Maybe I'll try the PetSmart obedience class which will hopefully have less walking.

That's sad about Rex. Our German Shepherd Sisko was a big sweetie too. He developed a prostate tumor when he was only 9 :sad1: He thought he was a lap dog.

Night, Cel. Don't worry your mama!!!

Peejkirvio - I'm sorta with you regarding gravy on biscuits, unless there's chunks of Bob Evan's sausage in that gravy. Otherwise, I prefer butter and honey. Mmmmm.

I agree totally Moo....Biscuits with butter an Honey and add Krispy fried Chicken to wash it done along with a tall glass of ice tea...yummmm

I am not believing i am saying this, but I am sort of looking forward to cleaning the house tomorrow  Don't faint, MommyP!

It woiuld really be great if I had a needle for my record player (yes, the vinyl kind) but no such luck. And all my good german housecleaning song CDs are in the office

I'll have to see what I can do to improvise and hopefully not lose steam. Maybe some Beachboys? Don't know if or where we have Queen. Lots of Beatles though

Maybe I can download the Happy working song and play it over and over?

My son is coming home next week for 3 days, can you tell i am excited pirate:

Your Welcome Moo...they put on a good show both nights each week...I really enjoy them.

Hi Marita, I had a solid white AKC German Sherpard she was a very sweet dog and she even adopted a tiny stray kitten ...my ex probably still has pictures of them sleeping together.....

Hi Marita...send me the info on your record player I might be able find you a needle . I see old RP's at the fleamarket all the time cheap

I found some songs I had downloaded on my computer to clean by. Some Backstreet Boys and a Hildegard Knef (German) . Hiopefully they wll get me through the worst part of the cleaning (kitchen floor)n

OK I better go to bed or I won't get anything done!

Thanks, BH, but I dont know what info to send you. I just looked at it. There is no name brand I can see. It's on of those things that supposedly lets you transfer a vinyl record to CD (if only it had a needle!) So it's a recent model player.

Wait, I had a brain flash (that is the nice term).
Indeed we have reference materials in the hidden drawer and should be able to order stuff.
Thanks so much for the offer, BH, much appreciated! You made me think to go look.
I guess I will just order it from the materials. I don't know why it didn't come wiht a needle in the first place? Unless someone did something to it?:confused3

Well, the demise of Scrabulous made in to the Conan O'Brian show tonight in a skit.

I wish I could have caught all the words they played with tons of points, but it was too fast for me.

kagu = 9
japing=16
quip = 15

Thats all I got

Good Morning Moovers.

I'm off to work. You guys turned too many pages. No time to read back.

Have a great day!
