Mony, for my Easter dinner, I drove to Taco Bell and got 2 taco supremes, LOL

Well, my toilet migrated from the front flower (weed) bed to the curb for garbage pickup, which I dont think will happen (for the bulk version) till next Wednesday, so I think I need a drape for it of some sort to not totally look white-trashy....:rolleyes1

Mony - I went out to Easter dinner with my sisters, another friend, and my hubby, so no cooking by me! It was relaxing :goodvibes Goog luck on your test results and yikes on the "when it rains it pours" thing (both kids AND rain)!!! We didn't have any bad storms here, thankfully.

I'm SO happy to have a Disney-related trip to look forward to again :yay:

Marita - LOLing about your new lawn decor! :lmao:

Nabbie - I read a good trip report by Happydog who cruised on the Dream in February. Lots of great photos :) I saw that DCL had called me earlier today, but they didn't leave a message! I'll have to check whether they called my friend. They're supposed to see whether there's an inside stateroom with the new virtual porthole that won't be quite as expensive for us, but I'm thinking I might like having a veranda better. The concierge rooms are above us, so for our deck, I think that'll be a bit quieter.

I watched the weather channel last night......the storms were horrific...I could not believe watching the one in Birmingham Al.....it was live coverage and I just felt so bad for the people there........I didnt see any updates after.....so Hope that all of these people made it thru these storms safe.
AND if any of you peeps too......I am not sure who lives in the path of them....but hope you are all okey too..

I took today off as well as tomorrow.......I am going to do my BILLS, then call the egg lady for the week I am gone....People who get them still want them....My daughter and my neighbor......love free range chickens that lay the blue eggs....hahaha...
SO alot to do and I can do it.....Its yucky here and I can feel the humidiity in the house......four or five days of RAIN is not good.....do you hear my feet squeaking......hahaha.

Have a good day my friends.......and potty flower vases are in this year I heard...

Pumba-- It was really humid here yesterday, the sun is out right now but they said we were going to get rain all day.:confused3 I will take it and hope the wind doesn't blow some nasty stuff in.

Moo-- Inside rooms are always cheaper. That is what we always stayed in but this time we are going for a veranda. We picked our room on the 7th deck but when our paper work came we were on deck 6 so not sure if that is an upgrade or not. I think it might be since there are no inside cabins down the middle strip like the on your in now too. Plus the Vibe is one floor down. Easy for Nicholas to come and go, not so much for Hannah were the edge is on deck 13.

Hubby is off today finally, he worked all weekend. So will be nice to have a day with him.

No potty flowers for me, hah! it magically disappeared today.:thumbsup2

Pumba, yay for your trip finally getting here!

The bathroom is coming along nicely, all the tiling is done. Looks really nice from what I could tell from briefly peeking through the door that was leaned on the opening to block entry. I think I'll go on a shopping trip this weekend to buy shower curtains and other accessories.

I have tomorrow off, and it will be Wedding day all morning (and night, Im sure). I have 2 channels on my TV programmed to record (NOT getting up at 4AM). and another channel on hubby's TV, he has a plasma so the picture will be a lot better.

I can really get used to these 4 day weeks....

9 days until we are at Disney! This weekend I have 5 of my sister's kids. She and her DH and their oldest daughter are going to a conference. They are old enough to stay home(oldest is 17, youngest is 8). But he(the oldest) doesn't have his license yet and since he can't authorize medical treatment since he's not 18, they are just gonna stay here. So that should be busy. We are going to the beach on Sat. That's 11 kids we'll have. LOL!

Hi everyone.

Life is crazy here. Glad to read all the news~ hope you are all well :)

Marita - I got home late from an evening work meeting so I'm just going to try to stay up to watch the royal wedding stuff!!! We'll see how I do, LOL :lmao: I'm going to set an alarm and the Tivo just in case. I had to pick up some groceries on my way home, so I got some McVittie's tea biscuits to have with my tea in the morning. Was thinking of making some scones with lemon curd and clotted cream, but I couldn't find the everything I needed at the store :( Should have planned ahead better.

MP - Yay for your upcoming trip and your beach day this weekend :cool1:

Pumba - Have fun with your trip prep :thumbsup2

Hiya, Twink! Hope things are well with you other than being crazy busy :)

Nabbie - I was thinking I could live with the less expensive inside stateroom if we had one of those new virtual portholes. We'll see how things work out. After seeing the room prices and doing some reading on the Cruise Forum, I can see why so many people re-book onboard

Hope all is OK with Allie - I don't think I've seen that she has checked in on FB so far. My nephew who is doing an internship with the Montgomery Biscuits minor league baseball team in Alabama reported in that he was doing fine.

Moo, it never occurred to me to get food for the occasion, LOL. Probably better, I am on the last notch of my belt. I feel totally unlike myself.......... Last thing is more food

My alam is set for 8 am, I figure between Tivo and all the other coverage I will get more than enough. Actually, it probably will be good to go back to some normalcy

Regarding cabin choices, i Loved the verandah. but admittedly more when I smoked, Just not the same benefit without that, LOL. I think the special "porthole" would be cool.

MP, 11 kids? Good luck!

Decided to just stay up to watch all the festivities! Flipping between the BBC and the Today Show coverage.

Marita - I'm had to have a little chocolate to get some caffeine into my system to stay awake

Oh. My. Goodness. The HATS!!!!! So fun to see!

I didn't stay up but was up at 4:45 . Hubby was up too, I thought that was funny.

Those hats are something else especially Eugina's (?) hat. Andrew's daugther.

I have been watching on TLC , love the commentary. Pretty funny actually. But flip back to CTV because of the high def. Waiting for the balcony kiss.

Hannah is also watching she got up at 5:30 , time to see them all heading to the church.

I'm watching it on tape right now. 10:41am London time, so almost time.

I agree, those hats are jun fun to see.

I thought I'd make it up to see the coverage but my hand kept hitting snooze, so I didn't make the live, but I've seen all the taped coverage and that's fine for me.

Mal said that she wanted a wedding just like that one. :wizard:

ETA:

I wasn't done and it posted my post already:confused3

So my grades Winter Semester are: A- (grade I was fighting) A, A, A!!!!

The prof told me I was his best student, but was going to give me an A-/B+ and there was a student we was giving an A to. Long story short, he must have considered my side and gave me the A-, which I am grateful for.

I only have two classes spring semester and am taking summer off. My test results are 15 days away! Excited and nervous at the same time. This time waiting is making me doubt myself.

It was a scan tron test, I don't know why you couldn't get a tentative reading on your way out.

worried about Allie........

Have a great day!

Well, I saw most of the BBC coverage except for the couple times I nodded off, LOL, but I was able to back the recording up to see Kate's arrival at the church! What an elegant dress!!! I have the NBC coverage to fastforward through tomorrow when I get home from my niece's college graduation. Too much going on this weekend!!!

Marita - Hope you enjoyed watching too :)

Nabbie - Beatrice's hat was insane! Eugenia's went well with her outfit, I thought. I felt kind of bad for the sisters because their mother was banned from the ceremony. I wondered if that was why Beatrice was making a statement with her attire. I don't think their father has aged well at all :sad2:

Awesome grades, Mony! I see on FB that Allie checked in with Sandy via text and said that they are safe at her parents' home but apparently they need a new roof :(

MommyP - Let us know how your beach day goes!

Thank goodness Allie is ok. I know we haven't heard from her and watching those pictures on the news is scary.

Moo-- I thought Prince Andrew really aged too. The hats were really crazy yesterday. I loved listening to all the commentary on different channels. It ran most of the day on some channels.

Mommy p-- Good luck with all those kids. At least some of them are older and can help out.

Marita-- Sounds like your bathroom is coming along nicely. I loved just looking at my rooms as they were getting done and even after they were done thinking how nice it turned out and how bad it was. :lmao:

Mony-- I thought you were giving up daycare or is that just for the summer?

Well not doing much today other then :laundy: and catching up on some recorded shows.

Thanks for the update Moo, I was so worried, glad they are all safe. Hopefully good insurance too.

NAB: Yes! I want to give up daycare for good come summer sometime, I have parents giving me static and a husband over it. I just took in 4 (they know of my plans to quit) so I'm trying to put that money aside for when I do quit. Plus I got approved for a new tier reimbursment rate for the food program, which almost doubles what I was getting. I think I can even claim my own children on the program. I put a call in to ask, they should return my call Monday. Fingers crossed, this money is so needed.

Beautiful day! Did yard work out in the front. Taking a wee break have to go back out hubby can't find stuff:rolleyes:

Purchased all my pods and seeds, want to start my own plants this year for the garden.

Catching up on Nebo's trippy almost done.

Just a very busy weekend, I think, Mony! That's my excuse for not posting earlier ;)

I had my niece's college graduation yesterday and today I went to the memorial garden dedication for my colleague's daughter who was killed in a car accident almost a year ago. Today would have been her 19th birthday. They also had a memorial soccer game today to raise funds for heated dugouts at the soccer field where she played and where the garden is located. Very moving dedication and a nice turnout. Thank goodness for the spring-like weather . . . finally!

What a shocker about Osama bin Laden tonight!
