Monorail question....

I hope this is the right place to ask this!

On our first full day (a Sunday) we plan to go to BB for most of the day. For the evening I thought it would be fun to hop on the monorail and check out the resorts (and get dinner at one of them!) as one of the people we're traveling with hasn't been to WDW since '81!

We're staying at BCV and I was wondering the easiest way to get on the monorail (but, not walking through Epcot--we don't want to burn a day on our hoppers!) Can we just drive to TTC and go from there?

Thanks for your help-Dana:D

If you make a reservation at one of the hotels for dinner you can park there. I would park at TTC because if the hotel is crowded sometimes they limit your parking to 3 hours. I think that mostly happens at the Contemporary.

If you're looking to prowl around for the evening, park at Downtown Disney. You'll want to park at Westside, as close to Planet Hollywood as you can. Walk over to the buses, and head for stop number 3, for the Contemporary-Poly-Grand bus. When the bus stops at the Contemporary, hop on out, head for the 4th floor, and catch the resort monorail.

I prefer parking at DD because there's better security, no time limit, and buses continue to run there later than anywhere else.

My recommendation would be to take the bus to the MK... from there, you can hop on board the Monorail, and visit all the Monorail Resorts.

I think we may park at DTD and go from there. Taking the bus to MK would work; but it would probably make it harder to get back to BCV. If it got very late we would have to take a bus to DTD and then a bus back to our resort. Right? That could be a bit much with a 4 year old in tow. If our car is already at DTD it would probably be easier. Thanks again for your help!:D

You might as well then just park at the TTC... it would eliminate the trip to/from DTD.
